When I saw pearl jam in may of this past year in D.C., Ed took a moment to tell a funny story about how that morning before the show he recieved a phone call from Dick Cheney asking Eddie if he could play his favorite song for him at the show that night, the song he listens to every morning. So Ed says to the crowd "So this is the song. this is for Dick" and they start playing "Fuckin Up". Obviously he didn't really get a phone call from Dick Cheney (or maybe he did... ) but still his little story leading up to the song was pretty funny.
