PSU seems to have screwed the pooch on their coach firing/hiring. Signing day starts today and they have no coach, after firing the previous one over a month ago. Maybe it’s no longer “come play for Coach ____” maybe it’s “come play for _____ $$$$”

They are definitely not managing this well. I think their class is rated like 90 right now, and today is early NSD. Really glad Hartline is headed to USF. He going to go somewhere and I was worried it would be in the Big or SEC. He won't cause us too much damage down there. He will be picking at UM, UF and FSU.

USC class looks good.

100%. their AD has fucked this royally up. And all the hot names have re-signed with their current schools. no idea where they end up now.

I'd think they might reach out to Al Golden. But they may have already tried. I heard a rumor that Tommy Rees is interviewing for it. Yikes!!! PSU was rolling until James Franklin tried to "little bro" Marcus Freeman. Since then, nothing has gone well for PSU.

The timing of all this is so beyond dumb it is comical.
Penn State is screwed because they haven't hired a new coach prior to the actual college football season completing.
Stupid.
Should not be able to hire until the season is all done.
Signing day should be Feb as it always was. No need for 2 signing days and the kids to enroll in January

He doesn't need to get in a semester early so he can start as a true freshman and set the world on fire.

I was never fully on on board with the fire Franklin ship. He will do well at VT. They should be a true and consistent ACC contender sooner than later. Perhaps Penn State's biggest problem was Drew Allar. The replacement QB is doing better IMO.
