What Show Did You Just See?

  • I went to see the Oh See/OCS 2 nights in a row at Warsaw.  They killed as usual.

Saturday Night the crowd was great.  They had a shirt about Sam Smith wanting to take over their dates for whatever run they are doing but the Oh Sees have a history w the venue and have been sold out for a while and kept these dates.

Sunday the crowd sucked.  More drunkards than fans it seemed. Band killed again though so it made up for it.

See this band if you ever have the chance.  Dwyer, the lead singer always comments on how the NY crowds are great.

I saw DEVO last night in Denver. They were so fun, got the red hats, jumpsuits, a variety of costumes. They sounded great.

Jason Bonham Led Zeppelin Evening in Bethlehem, PA.

Played Physical Graffiti Which Is probably my favorite LZ album if I'm MADE to choose=LOL

Well worth the 2-hour drive to see them. Very good band and the Guitarist is very good. Jason Bonham bangs them drums very well himself.

Lauryn Hill. Holy hell what a show. Not my usual but my daughter is a big fan. $500 for the pair. But it was worth every penny seeing the look on her face during the show.

Saw David Byrne last Friday.  An amazing show....lots of Talking Heads songs.

The musicians were all mobile onstage, including the four drummers!

I made a great choice deciding to finally see Bryan Adams live with my pop. Super good show. It helped the Sheepdogs were opening our show (one of my dad's faves).

Grabbed a last minute ticket last night. Quite a production! Her voice still sounds the same as 30 yrs ago.

The Machine (Pink Floyd tribute band)

I was impressed with the show, and they played some deep cuts like Arnold Layne, Set The Controls... and Careful With That Axe, Eugene.

I went to the 2nd night, and they played Wish You We're Here in its entirety.  They played almost a completely different set list the first night.

Jesse Welles. Totally exceeded my expectations. Loved the format. A solo set of his folky stuff, then a totally rocking hour with full band and jammed out songs, then a solo folk encore. Less than $50 Cdn for what will surely be one of my top shows of the year. 🤌🤌🤌 Bravo Jesse!

Last second decision.  Buddy had an extra ticket to Built to Spill and Modest Mouse.

Really enjoyed seeing MM in a smaller venue.  They sounded great and looked like they enjoyed themselves.

First time seeing BTS.  Did NOT know it was a 3 piece band.  I enjoyed them too.
BTS is a favorite of mine! His touring band are great. They seem to have a lot of fun with the songs. Considering how he writes songs, I wish he would add a second guitarist to fill out the band a bit. A one point they were a 5 piece, although it’s really just Doug and whoever he decides to play with.
OK so I'm not going nuts, I could have sworn I saw videos of a bigger band.  He was playing with two ladies this time.  The bassist was very much into doing high leg kicks.
Nice! They are coming to Atlanta soon so I may go see them again.
