The base is meaty enough to free stand as it turns out.

The Lego app says I completed it in 7 hours … no way that is correct. I estimated over 20 hours.Be Excellent To Each OtherParty On, Dudes!0

Here is is mounted. Mission Accomplished. As of note for free standing, there are two stabilizer bars that are built in to the base that give it a little more support ... I wasn't sure what the purpose was originally. I used wall anchors and screws.

That looks amazing! I like the red sky.
I may consider leaving the "Batman" word off after I build and hang mine.

I was thinking the same at first, but I ended up liking the gothic style of the lettering and it doesn't stand out too much a lighter colored wall. I put the minifigs next to it to help fill out the spacing and orientation to adjacent art. Let me know if you plan on hanging it and I can give you tips on what I used.Be Excellent To Each OtherParty On, Dudes!0 -
I ordered the new Back to the Future Speed Champions set the other day for nostalgia sake. Might open this one as I have the 21103 set tucked away and still sealed.1996: Randall's Island 2 1998: East Rutherford | MSG 1 & 2 2000: Cincinnati | Columbus | Jones Beach 1, 2, & 3 | Boston 1 | Camden 1 & 2 2003: Philadelphia | Uniondale | MSG 1 & 2 | Holmdel 2005: Atlantic City 1 2006: Camden 1 | East Rutherford 1 & 2 2008: Camden 1 & 2 | MSG 1 & 2 (#25) | Newark (EV) 2009: Philadelphia 1, 2 & 4 2010: Newark | MSG 1 & 2 2011: Toronto 1 2013: Wrigley Field | Brooklyn 2 | Philadelphia 1 & 2 | Baltimore 2015: Central Park 2016: Philadelphia 1 & 2 | MSG 1 & 2 | Fenway Park 2 | MSG (TOTD) 2017: Brooklyn (RnR HOF) 2020: MSG | Asbury Park 2021: Asbury Park 2022: MSG | Camden | Nashville 2024: MSG 1 & 2 (#50) | Philadelphia 1 & 2 | Baltimore 2025: Raleigh 20

Totally forgot I ordered one months ago - so it was a fun surprise.I got the Popcorn Wagon and was ready to build it yesterday ... but there are no instructions! Lego has a "coming soon" listed on the app.

Oh wow - never had that before with these sets. I bought the same set, but it hasn’t arrived yet.0

10 bags into this a loving it. The Easter eggs are well thought out. The designers of these sets are geniuses, it always amazes me how they make everything go together.Jason P said:Here is is mounted. Currently building the Dark Falcon, which is a fun take on the original. The mini-figures alone can justify the price if you can get it for 20%-30% off. Darth Jar Jar, Jedi Vader and Luke Lebowski are top notch.

At first glance, they really knock the new Goonies set out of the ballpark (although pretty expensive at $330!). I probably wait for a 20% off deal but behold ...

Well, I had $100 in points on Lego and ended up breaking down and getting the Goonies set and the Walsh's attic GWP.

Nice! Hopefully they get some Dynobots in the future. I would consider getting a Star Scream if they made it O.G. styleBe Excellent To Each OtherParty On, Dudes!0

Anyone pick up anything from Insiders weekend, or holding out for Black Friday/Cyber Monday sales?
I ordered the Shelby Cobra and Arcade machine on double points.
Amazon has some great discounts at the moment also.1996: Toronto

I didn’t, but the one set I’d been waiting to buy, and finally bought a month ago, is now $140 cheaper now - oh well.
Some good deals and good insiders points available.

I guess the Lego deals went fast. Lion's Knight Castle was out of stock in seconds and Batman went fast too from what I read... glad I decided not to roll the dice on that one. Jazz Club is out of stock too.I did get a Tudor's Corner set for $100 off on Walmart just on chance. This will be the first modular set I've tried so it will be interesting to see how I can fit it into my cityBe Excellent To Each OtherParty On, Dudes!0
