The base is meaty enough to free stand as it turns out.

The Lego app says I completed it in 7 hours … no way that is correct.   I estimated over 20 hours.

Here is is mounted.  Mission Accomplished.

As of note for free standing, there are two stabilizer bars that are built in to the base that give it a little more support ... I wasn't sure what the purpose was originally.  I used wall anchors and screws.

That looks amazing! I like the red sky.
I may consider leaving the "Batman" word off after I build and hang mine.

    We shall see.

I was thinking the same at first, but I ended up liking the gothic style of the lettering and it doesn't stand out too much a lighter colored wall.  I put the minifigs next to it to help fill out the spacing and orientation to adjacent art.  Let me know if you plan on hanging it and I can give you tips on what I used.

I ordered the new Back to the Future Speed Champions set the other day for nostalgia sake.  Might open this one as I have the 21103 set tucked away and still sealed.

Got the notice that the previous round of the BrickLink series are shipping soon. Totally forgot I ordered one months ago - so it was a fun surprise.

I got the Popcorn Wagon and was ready to build it yesterday ... but there are no instructions!  Lego has a "coming soon" listed on the app.

Oh wow - never had that before with these sets. I bought the same set, but it hasn’t arrived yet.

10 bags into this a loving it. The Easter eggs are well thought out. The designers of these sets are geniuses, it always amazes me how they make everything go together.
    Soooo many stickers....

Currently building the Dark Falcon, which is a fun take on the original.  The mini-figures alone can justify the price if you can get it for 20%-30% off.  Darth Jar Jar, Jedi Vader and Luke Lebowski are top notch.
