My sissy just got me QOTSA catacombs record. Stoked to get this finally.

There is still a buzz about this one out there so can't wait.

    This looks really cool.
The set is beautifully put together. Top notch all the way around. There's the 7 albums plus a hardcover book with reproductions of little mementos tucked in throughout the book. Even had a studio tracks sheet folded up and hidden back in the box. Really cool presentation.
I'm not huge into Bruce but I could be persuaded to buy a box set like this and listen. I have listened to "thunder road" on NPR on the weekends and like what I have heard.
As cool as this boxset is, it is definitely more for the serious collector. 7 previously unreleased album, so no hits. Wouldn’t necessarily be where I would recommend you start, but if after you expand your Bruce horizons then it might definitely be something to dig into.

Absolutely fantastic set. All the bonus material- outtakes, Electric Nebraska, the new live recording - are all great. Nebraska almost sounds better now with Bruce’s aging voice.

    Just arrived.

Question for you NY aficionados. Is this right that they are all analog? Was Unplugged and Harvest Moon really recorded to tape?

Between Bruce, Neil and the Coltrane Complete Village Vanguard, yesterday was a very Box Set-y day for packages.

Apple in orange, from the Netherlands in Chicago, might be one of the most confusing sentences I’ve read in a while!  :D

    Either way, enjoy!

I spun Songbook by Chris Cornell yesterday while puttering around the house.  Hadn't spin it in a while, it sounds amazing on my Stereo.

I hear new things(things to me) on that Thunder Road show.  If I didn't like it I could always sell it.

For give me if I've already asked this, but are the Mirror Ball in this set expanded from the original, and if so, do you know if there is any talk about a release of just the updated Mirror Ball?  Also, it seems to me I remember there being talk about a live Young/PJ/Mirror Ball era release.  Was I dreaming?

The standalone vinyl of Mirror Ball will be released at some point in 2026. Peace and Love is longer on the new vinyl, but you can’t really say it’s an expanded version of the album.
Mirror Ball Live will only actually include 6 Mirror Ball songs - Big Green Country, Song X, Act of Love, Downtown, Throw Your Hatred Down, and Scenery.
It would’ve been nice to include I’m The Ocean and Peace and Love from another show on the tour, but Truth Be Known wasn’t played on that tour, and What Happened Yesterday and Fallen Angel have never been played.
