Lots of fun. The first few Freddy sequences are top notch. Honestly was making a run for my favorite of the series, but started to lose steam after the first hour. Great effects.

Great performances by Emily Blunt and Dwayne Johnson. Who knew The Rock could act?

Unfortunately, this sequel was a complete ripoff of another horror franchise.

The first one was bland as fuck. I would never find myself watching part 2.

    😂
Sorry about no response! Been teaching all day and 3rd grade has a field trip so I’ve got a break!

I liked this movie. This dog is the absolute best!  Do I think it’s the most amazing movie ever? Nope. And that’s okay.

But great job framing the movie around a dog and keeping us to the dog’s point of view and how he might experience life. The 72 minute runtime is nicely done. Maybe could have trimmed a little, but it’s pretty nice and tight.

This is not some monster movie or anything like that. I appreciated keeping the dog’s abilities to actual dog actions. He is not a super dog.

No spoilers, but it is surprisingly emotional at the end. Is Indy a goodboy? Absolutely, like all good dogs, so loyal, even when he isn’t quite sure what to do, except stand by his person and try to provide some comfort.

Couple of ladies behind me in the theater added to the fun, as the jump scares really got them! 😃

Fun little feature after the credits showing Indy and the behind the scenes film shoot. What a total diy effort! Happy to send this movie some box office. It’s made $5 million against a $800,000 budget! Good on IFC for extending the theatrical run by a few weeks.

See this with the expectations of an emotional, creepy journey and you’ll love it. Don’t come for a gory, monster horror movie. It’s not that.

And man, that dog is the best!

It certainly looked good in IMAX 3D, but that's about it.  Soundtrack was decent.
