non-imax 3D version watched
Visuals + sound + music in combination are good for something. But this kind of attraction was clearly overshadowed by uninteresting human characters, expendable AI tech and lack of story power very early on. I was only hooked by audio-visual moments and drifted through after circa 30 minutes. Mostly lifeless, overall movie fast food, forgotten minutes after leaving the cinema.
moderate interesting everyday life on a remote island, WW2 era. Main character is a young boy. Directed by Fatih Akin (The Golden Glove).Post edited by D-Day on0 -
Haven’t seen this since the theater. My son started watching, so I sat down to watch. Can’t say no to Sigourney.0 -

Love that Fishburne is going by Larry at this stage in his career. When I saw this in the theater I was heartbroken with Freddy’s little trick at the end.0

While they are never high art or even the best action movies ever, Scott Adkins is usually good for a solid meat and potatoes action flick with some bruising fights and practical stunts. He’s a pretty decent actor and not afraid to do most of his stunts. The fights between him and Zaror were great (both guys are in John Wick 4).0 -
Good film

I always love the Kong/Godzilla universe flicks! So entertaining (pro-Kong everytime, if it makes me choose). I'm not much of a critic when it comes to these films. I just sit back and enjoy. This one in particular is very Temple of Doom, lol.Post edited by PJ_Soul onWith all its sham, drudgery, and broken dreams, it is still a beautiful world. Be careful. ^Dan Stevens in this was a lot of fun.0

Since the age of CGI, I don't care about that type of film any longer"Mostly I think that people react sensitively because they know you’ve got a point"0

It was sad seeing him deteriorate. It took a lot to get him to that last concert. But it was so amazing he made it.
