There have been more than 2,400 settler attacks on Palestinian property since October 7, 2023, displacing over 3,000 people.
Israeli forces and settlers have carried out a series of raids and attacks across the occupied West Bank, with soldiers shooting several residents in the Far’a refugee camp and settlers vandalising Palestinian homes and farmland near Nablus and Hebron, according to local media reports, alongside Israel’s relentless destruction of Gaza.
In one of several raids on Wednesday morning, Israeli troops stormed the Far’a camp near Tubas, opening fire on residents, reported the Palestinian Wafa news agency. Two young men were wounded and treated by Palestine Red Crescent Society medics. The Israeli military arrested Palestinians from the camp, as well as Tulkarem, Hebron and Jifna near Ramallah, Wafa reported.
Meanwhile, Israeli settlers set fire to part of a Palestinian home near the town of Huwara in Nablus governorate, according to the municipality’s public relations director. Footage of the attack, viewed by Al Jazeera, shows firefighters attempting to extinguish flames that had engulfed an attached outdoor structure.
Elsewhere, in the town of Sa’ir near Hebron, Israeli settlers cut down about 300 almond and olive trees owned by Palestinians – the latest in a string of attacks on agriculture in the area over the past month, according to Wafa. A separate group of Israeli settlers drove by a Palestinian neighbourhood southeast of Bethlehem and “harassed” residents, the agency added.
Attacks by Israeli forces and settlers in the West Bank have surged since the war in Gaza broke out in October 2023. Since then, such attacks have killed at least 1,047 Palestinians and injured more than 10,000, according to the Palestinian Ministry of Health.
Attacks by settlers, who rampage and mete out violence against unarmed Palestinians with impunity, have targeted Palestinian property more than 2,400 times in the last two years, displacing at least 3,055 people, including 1,529 children – most belonging to Bedouin or herding communities, according to the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees.

Just a thought experiment - if the Vatican was responsible for egregious behaviour and a Catholic person was murdered outside of their church in a different continent, is the violence against them justifiable?
Ignoring violence like this does a disservice to democracy, it promotes selective apathy for those you disagree with, and it's also completely illogical. To the bold, agreed.
I never said I agreed with the attack on the synagogue and of course it’s wrong. But it is also wrong that a nuclear armed state subsidized by the US, UK and EU continuously commits genocide against the Palestinians as a result of identity politics. If you’re, general you, are going to call it out, at least have the decency to call it out on both sides and have the comprehension to understand the why of why someone would lone wolf attack a synagogue.
“Identity politics” sounds a lot like a shadow attack against protesters on college campuses because any criticism of Israel is siding with Hamas and a terrorist attack against Jews, IMHO.
Israel is committing genocide against the Palestinians and the world is looking away. “Never again” my ass. I’ll continue to post articles as it relates to said genocide of Palestinians as anyone can post articles about terrorist acts committed against Jews. Until the US DOS tells me to stop or jails me.

Palestinian people (often a point on this forum) are literally begging Hamas to accept the current peace offer. Of course they won’t , because if they had the might they’d genocide the Jews to oblivion more than any force on earth if they could. They literally have a song celebrating that wish. Hamas won’t move an inch off of this olive branch, Despite eight Muslim nations willing to negotiate off of that peace offer.
There’s something at play here when the UK news story generates jokes. There’s something at play here when Oct seven generated jokes. Well…if you attack a country a zillion times more powerful, take and keep hostages, you may hurt your own people. All Because of faulty lines drawn in the immediate aftermath of a real genocide in the 1940s. Every other fact in this complicated history irrelevant, of course, because something else is at play here. We both know it. genocide cant be proven because we don’t have concentration camps and showers.just admit what’s at play here. Be courageous.
The USA can immediately stop funding Israel and that will accomplish nothing. If anything, that will send them to Russia or another bad actor for an alliance. Then we get dictator Netanyahu who will never leave. Good job.
Unfortunately for the Palestinians peace can’t happen because Hamas can’t be rooted out until the tunnels are gone. Hamas would rather its own people die before they accept anything less than 100% of their demands. From a side that is losing a war and using its people as fodder to die for their political goals. Hamas’ guilt is demonstrated by how quickly Lebanon was solved. No tunnels to hide, the terrorists are forced to leave.
Far left needs to stop the politics of hate. Stop mocking Israelis, which is why the last mid east topic was shut. Stop mocking white men. It isn’t funny and how politics of hate is now almost as much from the left. The left has changed so much in the last ten years. They really want to force the centrists to support republicans, ugh.
Trump has destroyed the democrats by turning them into his style of politics.
Mods, doesn’t it make sense to keep shutting these forums down automatically, because they are always “wash, rinse, repeat.”0 -

Every goddamn day.Israeli settlers burn Palestinian home, fell olive trees in West Bank
I haven't said a positive thing about Israel in decades. I have exactly zero respect for what Israel has been up to. If I was murdered outside my synagogue, would you think that's justifiable too? Your response makes it seem that way.
It's possible both for Israel to be wrong in its actions, and for vigilante justice through the murder of global Jews in response to be wrong. If you give a shit about peace, then surely you can see how events like this are completely unproductive.* The following opinion is mine and mine alone and does not represent the views of my family, friends, government and/or my past, present or future employer. US Department of State: 1-888-407-4747.
Mods, doesn’t it make sense to keep shutting these forums down automatically, because they are always “wash, rinse, repeat.”
Have any evidence to back up the first bold?
The denial of the second bold is what is at play. Any discussion of Israel that you disagree with is requested to "be shut down." Just as it is with the white male grievance. Facts are difficult things and injustice is a difficult subject. Shutting down discussion of them doesn't make things better or make them go away. Crush free speech because Israel.
The fully bolded paragraph is BS. Bibi the Butcher could be brought to heal with the complicity of the US supplying, funding and financing its genocide against the Palestinians. Putin on the ritz isn't stepping into that breach.
Israel has attacked 5 ME countries and the West Bank and Gaza. How many countries has Palestine attacked (Gaza, West Bank)? The majority killed innocent civilians.
"Only allow posts of those who I agree with." That and the bold is as disingenuous as it comes. Flag away.
I'll steal one from Mickey, do you equate all Palestinians as Hamas? Previous statements and avoidance of the question leave a strong impression. You told us that Hamas didn't operate in the West Bank and that the Palestinians in the West Bank were living under a democracy and enjoyed their rights. More disingenuous from you and your defense of Israel.

Not keeping up with the main RLD (Radical Left Dem) main tablet? It’s in today’s NYT, and they actually interviewed some Palestinians. Unfortunately these poor folks risked taking a bullet for speaking.Sounds like Hamas Genocide of Palestine.
Imagine the RLDs favoring a government that treats women and immigrants like trash, and murders its
people for speaking freely. The only way to peace is to get hamas to change and sign a treaty or root them out of their tunnels.‘Enough Is Enough’: Many Palestinians Say Hamas Must Accept Cease-Fire Plan

May have been the biggest reason trump won that never gets discussed because Dems lose votes on both sides of this terrible problem. of course dems lose votes on both sides of this problem. because it's not black and white. many american voters don't seem to like or understand nuance. everyone needs a boogeyman.

How long before Israel violates any negotiated terms? Don’t hold your breath but Bibi The Butcher is not an honest broker of a peace deal.Members of Trump’s team have ‘had it with Netanyahu’s antics’
William Lawrence, a Middle East analyst and professor at American University, says Trump has people around him that want his Gaza plan to go through “against the wishes of Israel” and the pro-Israel lobby in the US.
“People have figured out that it’s not about finishing the job [for Israel], it’s about perpetual war, perpetual occupation,” Lawrence explained.
“There is a sense now that there’s a certain thinking for Trump and a certain number of advisers around Trump who have kind of had it with Netanyahu’s antics,” he said.
“So if this thing turns for the better now, it’ll be because Hamas is calling everyone’s bluff and Trump is also calling Netanyahu’s bluff.”
As we’ve been reporting, experts have long said that Netanyahu has sabotaged efforts to reach a lasting ceasefire in Gaza for political reasons.

Seeing how wiki, wiki, wiki has cache now and is a trusted source. The Gaza genocide is the ongoing, intentional systematic destruction of the Palestinian people in the Gaza Strip carried out by Israel during the Gaza war. The genocidal acts include mass killings, starvation, the infliction of serious bodily and mental harm, and preventing births. Other acts include blockade, destroying civilian infrastructure, destroying healthcare facilities, killing healthcare workers and aid-seekers, causing mass forced displacement, committing sexual violence, and destroying educational, religious, and cultural sites.[10] The genocide has been recognised by consensus amongst experts,[11] including a United Nations special committee[12] and commission of inquiry;[13] humanitarian and human rights organizations;[14] international law experts;[15][16] genocide studies scholars;[17] and 86% of voters in the International Association of Genocide Scholars.[18][19]
By October 2025, the Gaza Health Ministry had reported that at least 66,148 people in Gaza had been killed.[5] Most of the victims are civilians,[20][21] of whom at least 50% are women and children.[22][23] Compared to other recent global conflicts, the numbers of known deaths of journalists, humanitarian and health workers, and children are among the highest.[24] Thousands more uncounted dead bodies are thought to be under the rubble of destroyed buildings.[21][25] A study in The Lancet estimated that traumatic injury deaths were undercounted by June 2024, while noting a larger potential death toll when "indirect" deaths are included.[26][27] As of May 2025 traumatic injury deaths are estimated at 93,000,[c] representing 4–5% of Gaza's pre-war population.[28][d] The number of injured is greater than 160,000.[5][9] Gaza has the most child amputees per capita in the world;[30] the Gaza war has caused disabilities for more than 21,000 children.[31]
An enforced Israeli blockade has heavily contributed to ongoing starvation and confirmed famine. Projections show 100% of the population is experiencing "high levels of acute food insecurity", with about 641,000 people experiencing catastrophic levels as of August 2025.[32] Early in the conflict, Israel cut off Gaza's water and electricity, but it later partially restored the water.[33] As of May 2024, 84% of Gaza's health centres have been destroyed or damaged.[34] Israel has also destroyed numerous cultural heritage sites, including all of Gaza's 12 universities and 80% of its schools.[35] Over 1.9 million Palestinians – 85% of Gaza's population – have been forcibly displaced.
The government of South Africa has instituted proceedings, South Africa v. Israel, against Israel at the International Court of Justice (ICJ), alleging a violation of the Genocide Convention.[36] The Israeli government has denied South Africa's allegations and has argued that Israel is defending itself.[37][38] In an initial ruling the ICJ held that South Africa was entitled to bring its case, while Palestinians were recognised to have a right to protection from genocide.[39] The court ordered Israel to take all measures within its power to prevent the commission of acts of genocide, to prevent and punish incitement to genocide, and to allow basic humanitarian service, aid and supplies into Gaza.[40][41][37] The court later ordered Israel to increase humanitarian aid into Gaza and to halt the Rafah offensive.[42][43] Israel did not comply with the court's orders,[44][45][46] instead continuing the Rafah offensive by displacing the city's inhabitants and razing thousands of buildings.[47][48]
