    aslo, bibi said that they are not done. he is authorizing the idf to destroy the hamas tunnels in gaza, and they are not stopping until hamas is eradicated. 

    this is not peace. it got hamas to stop fighting so israel can clean up.

    it's all suspect...my theory is that this was all a ploy for trump's peace prize...he figured that if he says there is peace and had a meeting set it would be all his

    Clearly the hostages being released is major. But Hamas isn't going anywhere. They are just reorganizing now and Israel is not going to let them do anything stupid. You can bet they are watching and there will be missiles if the right people congregate in the right place.

    5 Palestinians shot and killed in Gaza City, IDF says

    The Israel Defense Forces said its troops opened fire on Palestinians, killing five, after they allegedly violated the terms of the ceasefire agreement.

    The IDF said that "several suspects were identified crossing the yellow line and approaching IDF troops operating in the northern Gaza Strip, which constitutes a violation of the agreement."

    The five approached forces in Gaza City’s eastern Shejaiya neighborhood, the IDF said.

    "After multiple attempts to distance them, the suspects refused to comply, prompting troops to open fire to remove the threat," the IDF said on social media.

    A Palestinian Civil Defence spokesperson denied the IDF’s claim, telling ABC News that the five people were killed within the safe-zone yellow area.

    Israel strikes Gaza and halts aid, accusing Hamas of attacks in gravest test of truce so far

    Israel launched a series of strikes in Gaza on Sunday and said it was halting aid into the enclave in response to attacks on its forces, the military said, in the most serious test yet of this month's U.S.-brokered ceasefire.

    Residents in Gaza and local health authorities said Israeli airstrikes and tank fire across the enclave killed at least 18 people, including at least one woman.

    The Israeli military said it struck Hamas targets including a tunnel, weapons depots and its militants.

    Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu said he had ordered the military to respond forcefully to what he described as Hamas' violations of the ceasefire. The military said militants in the southern area of Rafah had launched an anti-tank missile and fired on its soldiers.

    PATH TO PEACE IS UNCERTAIN

    The armed wing of Hamas said it remained committed to the ceasefire agreement, was unaware of clashes in Rafah, and had not been in contact with groups there since March.

    A new Knesset report has revealed that a record number of Israelis have emigrated since 2020, raising alarm among lawmakers over the country’s demographic future. According to the Knesset’s Research and Information Center, between 2020 and 2024, 145,900 more Israelis left the country long term than returned, marking a steep rise in emigration over the past five years.

    The report noted that departures surged in 2022 and 2023, reaching 59,400 and 82,800 respectively—a trend partly tied to the Gaza war’s outbreak in late 2023. Tel Aviv residents made up 14 percent of those leaving in 2024, followed by Haifa (7.7 percent), Netanya (6.9 percent), and Jerusalem (6.3 percent).

    Committee chair Gilad Kariv described the figures as a “tsunami,” warning that government neglect and internal division had driven Israelis abroad. He urged Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu to act swiftly, accusing the government of “trampling on Zionist values.”
