    Yesterday my wife’s nephew got marriedin a rural field. His fiancée and her bridesmaids all wore elf ears; as the groomsmen and bridesmaids walked up the aisle, the men handed out beers and the ladies handed out pre-rolls. My wife’s side is pretty conservative, so it was quite a hoot (pun intended) to see the most of them partaking, one for the first time ever (at 50 yo). 

    20 years ago if you told me that would happen, I’d have bet my house against it. Times sure have changed.

    Just delivered from Hawaii Dr Druel’s Oxycookies there’s no oxy in the mix! The name is from the process of getting the THC from the plant matter using a wine press, they pack a punch hence the name 🤩

    I have smoked exactly once. I've avoided it for 2 reasons:

    - The second-hand smoke always gave me colossal headaches.
    - Even if I was smoking alone, in a sealed room, and Doctor Strange was able to erase it from my memory before I told anyone, I was always afraid my mom would find out lol.

    A few years ago, a bunch of us spent the day at wineries celebrating a friend's birthday. In the party bus on the way back, a buddy was passing around a marijuana pen, which I didn't even know existed. My girlfriend took a hit, so I felt compelled to take one as well, lest she think less of me. Everyone freaked out because they all knew that I'd never smoked before.

    This buddy is shady (let's be honest, everyone has a shady buddy), so I have no doubt that his pot was legit. I don't know if it was the food and wine, or maybe I'm just impervious to pot, but I didn't feel a thing at the end of the night. Definitely didn't feel high.

    Sadly as much as I want it to be great for me. It's always ended in doing me harm mentally and physically. Sad as I really want it to work for me. But it just doesn't like me.
