    I don't know.

I'll refer to my previous post of: "Had zero idea what that number would be or what that means."

I guess if you thought immigrants with visas were a problem before knowing that, then you can probably assume this admin will deal with the issue in a manner similar to how they have handled other issues pertaining to immigrants in the past 7 months.

If they were not a problem before knowing that stat, then its probably fine and you should be suspicious as to why its being highlighted now.

That is an excellent take on the subject. Thank you!

It’s not the progressives who complain about lack of housing? 55M+ on visas certainly doesn’t help.

What a truly myopic view of either situation if you conclusion is eliminating the latter fixes the former.

We went from “just going after the bad ones” to vetting every visa in a remarkably short amount of time.

Roughly 29% of America’s construction workers are foreign born, with that percentage being as high as 40 in states like CA & TX… paring those #s down w/ an aggressive deportation campaign is sure to only help the housing crisis, especially after the worsening natural disasters we’re seeing in recent decades.

Some big brains really have this all figured out.

to be clear I don't think 55m people will be deported (I don't think they have the enough people or time to review 55m). Its the threat that gross and its the thought of the voter who think maybe its a good idea thats even sicker.

I find the privilege that some natural born feel when this is reported to be interesting and will be something to watch the legs in regards to that.

The town I live in and the neighboring one were devastated by wildfires almost 4 years ago. There are still houses being rebuilt. Every single construction site that I walk, run, ride, or drive by is being worked on by...wait for it...almost exclusively foreign-born workers. Just about every single landscape or lawn care worker is...wait for it..foreign-born. And so on and so on.

The big brains in dc and their supporters really got this one down.

If this goes how many think it could go based on recent context, it is at best not thought through, or at worst completely thought through and thus purposeful and with intent.
