    Hello;

    Question for Americans... what's the deal with all of the ICE agents and the federal police agents etc.? 

    I saw a video ... I'm not sure how recent it is... of a bunch of agents and police in pretty big numbers marching through MacArthur Park in Los Angeles. 

    To be clear.. I'm Canadian and I'm not ignorant to the fact that any and all assistance curtailing crime is never a bad thing.  That said... it comes with a generous price tag that for the most part tax payers aren't particularly fond of paying under the circumstances. That's assuming these masked and armed agents aren't doing this for free.  

    I guess my question is... beyond the possible nefarious reasons this is happening... are they delivering any results?  Like what's the return on investment here?

    I saw a video ... I'm not sure how recent it is... of a bunch of agents and police in pretty big numbers marching through MacArthur Park in Los Angeles. 

    To be clear.. I'm Canadian and I'm not ignorant to the fact that any and all assistance curtailing crime is never a bad thing.  That said... it comes with a generous price tag that for the most part tax payers aren't particularly fond of paying under the circumstances. That's assuming these masked and armed agents aren't doing this for free.  

    I guess my question is... beyond the possible nefarious reasons this is happening... are they delivering any results?  Like what's the return on investment here? 

    It’s an authoritarian play to emotion that sets up the narrative that dems are “pro crime and lawlessness”. This is how it’s framed when people will push against the illegality and anti-constitutional aspects of it. He’ll do this traveling circus off and on for 3 1/2 years, focusing more in 2028 on the state where the dem nominee is. Measurable results don’t really matter to the right, as well as how short sighted it is. They see him as “doing something” after he goes around declaring continuous states of emergencies.  “The left doesn't care about crime and will just criticize Trump even when he’s doing good things”.
