I've never understood the ketchup hate on hot dogs. I love ketchup, mustard, onions, and relish on mine.

I guess it is a Chicago thing. Not sure I would I want ketchup on a true Chicago dog.

    Mustard not ketchup!
(You can put whatever you like on your dog, I'm happy for your enjoyment.)

First time I went to Chicago, I made sure to add ketchup to my Chicago dog...just to spite them. That said, usually when I have a chicago dog I feel no need to add ketchup since there is already tomato on the dog.

Tonight I made a Bacon Babybel Jucy Lucy. Two quarter pound patties, crumbled bacon, and a Babybel cheese. On top you have some mixed greens, grilled onion, tomato, 2 more slices of bacon, dill pickle mayo, ketchup, and mustard on a toasted potato bun. Next time I’ll use a Brioche bun, but this was really good.

frozen forgotten bread. Toasted in the pan with my "famous" garlic scape butter ;) eggs, half and half, Mexican sea salt and pepper. Dill, using up last years dried plus some fresh.
Not sure what it would be called but yummy and a great way to use up old bread.

Frittata or egg casserole or savory sourdough bread pudding.

    Thank you TJ!
    Made a summer corn salad.
    Strange but great combo.

Corn, cucumbers, peaches, blueberries, onions, basil, dill, lime, chipolte peppers. Fresh jalapeños would be great too. Don't have any yet.

I like strange combos. In food and in relationships. It just works even when it shouldn't. Your fresh summer blend looks amazing! Yum!
