    they haven't announced the new album yet, right?
    That's correct.  They just mentioned that all the music was completed, and Chino just needed to lay down the vocals.  But that news was back in July or so, and I'm guessing that the vocals should be complete, or almost finished by now.

    The new EP by Stephen Carpenter's side project Sol Invicto is really solid.
    If you like metal, I recommend checking it out.  It only has 3 songs on the new EP, and they plan to release a full album soon.

    Album art is definitely cool. Wish that green hoodie wasn't $90!  I've only listened to the new track once, but thought it was pretty good.

    New song hasn’t grabbed me immediately. Sometimes that’s a good thing. I’m always super excited for a Deftones record. They’ve been consistent for 30 years now and I love that they’re finally getting the recognition they deserve.

    Yeah I’ve been a Deftones lifer since I saw them when I was sixteen, on the Around the Fur tour. My coworker convinced me to check them out, I got to the club with a polo and khakis on, and everyone else seemed to be wearing leather and spikes. It was the heaviest music I had listened to at that point, but I love all the paths they’ve taken since.
