Just picked up a VIP meet and greet ticket for their Chicago show in August...can't wait. This is a gentle persuasion for any other Chicago Deftones fans in here to get it so we can all meet up and hang out during the show.

Yeah really bummed. Not sure why they rescheduled, I feel like everything is pretty much open here, especially given the fact sporting events are going on, other concerts, festivals, etc. Whatever, holding onto my ticket. May 2022 I guess

Gotta be something we don’t know or are not privy to. If they’re doing this solely because of Covid then yes, it doesn’t make any sense. Maybe ticket sales were super low.

Must be something we don't know. Hope it's not health issues.

Never really dug the crosses releases. Wouldn’t mind another Palms album though.

Total bummer. I love Sergio and the way he shaped the band following Chi’s death. Obviously we only have one side of the story (I’ll reserve full judgment) but sounds like they kind of short changed him. How do you not make a guy who’s been in your band for 12-13 years (4-5 albums) an official member? I feel bad for him based on what I know so far. Honestly takes some excitement out of the tickets I have to see them in May.

Agreed.  I didn't really realize how long he'd been with them until reading these reports.  I'd like to know more about the story, as it seems un-Deftones-ish of them (not that I'd really know haha).  I'm curious who will end up on bass for the tour.  I don't have tickets yet, but might still check them out in DC if I'm able.
