I mean it wouldn’t be my first choice but I wouldn’t turn it down.
If, say, EV plays Vegas and not Seattle / Portland this fall, fine. Vegas it is. If PJ decide on a Sphere residency - fine. Vegas it is. If PJ plays five cities / ten shows & Vegas is one, I'd rather not.
Vegas, San Francisco, Denver, San Diego and Seattle
100 Pacer, how many of these are right?
It's just a dumb guess, but from best to worst chances: Higher than 75% = Seattle, Vegas and San Diego Above 50% = San Francisco Don't bet on it = Denver
I'd be surprised if it's this week or next.

San Diego after Ohana? I don't know. I'll do Seattle and SF.
If PJ play the sphere I would just have to go. Never visited Vegas, and its on the list so it would be the perfect trip
Agreed, as much as I'm not a Vegas person, that venue and the capabilities there would pull me in. The photos and videos from the U2 and Dead & Co. shows looked incredible. Which is why I think Rob Sheridan's art would work so well there. He'd really make that place come alive visually.

I have only been to the airport in Vegas, but I was supposed to go to the show that was canceled due to the band getting sick. I would go to check it out.
No Sphere. This year, at least. The band as a whole is down for a residency of SOME sort, and Ed loves The Sphere. The others? Not so much😅 Seattle more likely (when the time comes).
I would imagine it would be a thing similar to what Metallica has been doing when they come to your town. A pop-up shop, if not the truck expanded. Ticketed interviews & conversations with band members at local shops/rented spaces. Restaurants & bars with themed food & drinks. A movie screening ala "Matter of Time" and/or a new updated version of PJ20.
Seattle could also involve MoPop, and do a fresh take on their recent PJ exhibit.
Two or three shows, and the whole things takes place over the course of a week.
Any other shows, or a tour not likely til fall '26, or spring '27.
I’m *fairly* certain I was at the U2 show at The Sphere that Eddie was at … it was U2’s third show (Oct. 5, 2023), and at some point Bono said, “Eddie Vedder is my Elvis.” And whole bunch of people started screaming and looking up to the suites. I tried to zoom in in that general direction for a pic, but failed to capture anything (anyone) of note. 😄😄😄😄 It is a crazy cool venue if the team has the proper graphics. I would see PJ there in a heartbeat.
I was at the show where Ed and Jill were there. Saw 5 U2 Sphere shows. The Sphere is booked through Eagles in early Nov
The Sphere has been added to my bucket list for any show... as has Seattle (I've seen concerts in Long Beach, CA [Tool], Bangor, ME [also Tool], and now Hollywood, FL [PJ] so I have to get in something in the 4th corner of CONUS)
A sphere residency would be amazing. I'm not sure what there is too complain about.
Up front may not be the best spot anymore… Imagine waiting 24 hrs in line only to sit in the middle of the stands.
You nailed it. I for one am not seeing Pearl Jam to look at screens. I have no interest in a sphere PJ show. To each their own.
I think it would be a fantastic spectacle as a one off. But yes the whole appeal of this band is their energy and output on stage, that will always take our full attention. If we are stood staring at the walls and roof then there's perhaps something a little wrong.
I guess its the overall experience of the venue that would be immersive even if we are 99% of the time watching the band. It looks such a visually stimulating environment with full on sensory overload appeal.

Those who haven't seen a Sphere show do not know what they're talking about. I did 2 in seats abd 3 in GA and each were fantastic. You need to see the graphics from the seats at least one time to appreciate

Everything about that show was GORGEOUS. Absolutely stunning.
Vegas is underrated as a music destination. I have zero interest in gambling and am not fond of the spectacle but in terms of concentrated and variety of music it’s hard to beat. Between residencies and tour acts there is a lot to offer. I hit U2, Billy Idol and Adele over three nights. I’d definitely do PJ at the Sphere with the added bonus of probably seeing some else.

No, I know what I’m about! Thank you though.
I don’t care to see PJ there. There are a hundred bands I would love to see there. Just PJ isn’t one of them and that’s ok. Would be one less ticket entry for you all to compete with.

3 U2 Sphere shows here, 1 Dead & Co., and 1 Eagles.
U2 was still the best imo, Eagles 2nd, Dead & Co. 3rd

Not sure Denver is in my budget.
"...I changed by not changing at all..."
"Mehhh...the show can only be okay at best. I mean, no matter what, it still isn't an east coast show."
- Also McGruff10 (probably)
I would welcome a residency at either.
