    I hadn't had a chance to post in a while because the sadder parts of real life got in the way but here is my 1942 000-18. It's got all the play wear that signifies a great life and in all original form.

    The high-end used guitar market just took a big hit ... he bought Gilmore's Black Strat for $4M years back.  McCready should have sold his '60 strat to him while he had a chance! 

    I like that Irsay would actually let musicians play his instruments and didn't lock them in a display case.  Hopefully he had a museum planned as he seemed to understand the "caretaker" mentality a musician and their instruments.

    That is a crazy collection. I'd love to see it someday. Wonder if they will continue with touring it around?

    Almost got that one but chose the Classic Vibes instead.  Wouldn't be surprised if I end up with a JMJM and switch to a mint green guard (which would look like the opposite of my strat, which is technically sonic blue but looks close to mint)

    This came today from Sweetwater. I was looking for a special, lifetime/keeper guitar to commemorate my dad who just passed and had been looking to get a Les Paul for a while as all my other electrics are Fender so I went for it. So far, it's pretty awesome right out of the box!
