Was a little more aggressive with the jalapeños,left in most seeds, and added a serrano pepper with the poblanos too. Added a splash of beer, can of drained beans and had some Colombian sausage. Pureed it up and was a little too spicy. Added a small handful of sugar to contrast the heat.
    Tastes good.
Just had a spoonful so far.

Would be good to smother a burrito or roast with pork chops.
Whatever. Just fun to mess around.

Hooked on tomatillos. Simple, different & delicious. The sugar helped a lot. Had a couple chips with some.
    Larry d wouldn't like it ;)

Band practice tonight, which means Taco Tuesday at the bar next to our space. 6 beef, a shot of Espolon Blanco, and a Tecate

That is awesome! Did you first cover all the veggies in oil, or just put them on the grill?

Just dry grilled them. I wanted to blister up those peppers especially. Then put in a pot with other stuff. A little liquid from the can of beans. Tomatillios give off a lot of liquid too. Blended them up.
Ended up mixing it with rice and some shrimp.

Salmon in a lemon cream sauce with sun dried tomatoes, garlic, and spinach. Served over rice with Parmesan cheese and red pepper flakes. Came out really good!

That’s looks great. I used to really love salmon and would eat it often. Last year I got food poisoning from it and haven’t been able to eat it since. I would like to be able to eat it again. I hope I can. When I was in college I got sick from eating pizza once and couldn’t eat it again for four years. Now I love it again.

One of them I went classic. Ketchup, mustard, pickles, rehydrated onions. The other one has a spicy aioli and pickled jalapeno

I like mine with lettuce and tomato. Heinz 57 and French fried potato. Big kosher pickle and a cold draft beer!

I get disappointed when TahoeJeff goes more than 12 hours without posting pics of his cooking expertise. Haha

Better than a cup of avocado & coffee toast!

I went out to breakfast with my bud after working all night. He poured coffee all over his pancakes.

    Thought it was syrup.

Pretty pretty funny and it's the only thing I think of every time I see him.

And yes I miss TahoeJeff. Maybe getting more takeout.

    Oh geez....

I once had a waitress dump a pot of coffee ON ME. She dumped it on me and my entire plate of breakfast. Then she handed me some napkins and never offered me another meal. Unreal
