PITT N2 song request. COMES THEN GOES, PLEASE

Requesting this song , comes then goes , in honor of my buddy Rob O'Brien. He died from overdose on this date last year.

After a lifetime of struggle with drugs and alcohol , first going to rehab at 16, he finally sought help at 50 on Dec 18, 2019. Doing something different saw him free of that shit for not quite 4yrs 5 mon.

Sadly those demons remain with us, lurking in the background , he chose to entertain then act on a thought. crack cocaine mixed with fentanyl was determined to be the cause of death.

We originally had Noblesville tix for that fan club only tour, but our date was postponed dur to that damned virus.  The make up date was fantastic but bittersweet. It featured the new music plus the usual standards. No room for Gigaton.

This song means a lot to me, before his passing and especially after.  Its yet to be played live so this is a long shot.

To hear it on May 18, one month after I see 19 yrs sober , would mean the world to me.

its funny, I first saw the band in 94 in St Pete  sober. then 2010,2013, 2014, 2024. Sober.

met at 13-14. lived  within a half mile of each other. hanging out at 16-17 onward. seperate ways early 20's each pursuing our seperate destructive paths. I get sober 2006. met my wife in 2010, moved in with her. 8 yrs later discover we live within a mile of each other. he's still using. 2019 on the cusp of covid he's arrested for the last time and seeks help. I am his sponsor in AA.  He later divorces(regret suggesting it) I see him the happiest I have ever seen him. joy to witness. later meets this woman. counter to advice they are joined at the hip immediately,  she effectively moves in with him. immediately. year long slow downward spiral. pulls back from aa. suggest he leave her or at least seperate. "but I love her". reaches a head feb 14 2024, he decides to move out.yay!!! 3 days later they talk and are back together and he and I fall out. barely speak for 7 weeks. tried multiple times to meet and hash shit out. he bails twice. week after the second canceled meeting on his part he uses and od's.

play this what if I did this/that differently would...fucking game. torture. stuck between that and KNOWING everyone does things perfect and he still chooses to use.

and here we are....
