    I think you are giving him the benefit of the doubt big time there...he used the "Nice ocean" an obvious dig at trump talking about the beautiful ocean protecting us....I think it was a clear, just wait it could happen to you.  

    Again, I feel he was provoked into lashing out for sure, but just sorry he did as it doesn't look good and allowed Trump to berating him...and actually be correct doing do so for a bit at least.  IMO anyhow.

    I thought the nice ocean comment was a dig, as in the US doesn’t have to worry about Russia lying and going back on its agreements like Ukraine does.

    Not a smart move. No one will ever win a logical argument with trump. If he wanted the minerals deal he should have just  stuck to the script and only say please and thank you. It stinks having this president, but this is apparently what the people want.

    Leave aside, if only for a moment, the utter boorishness with which President Donald Trump and Vice President J. D. Vance treated Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky at the White House today. Also leave aside the spectacle of American leaders publicly pummeling a friend as if he were an enemy. All of the ghastliness inflicted on Zelensky today should not obscure the geopolitical reality of what just happened: The president of the United States ambushed a loyal ally, presumably so that he can soon make a deal with the dictator of Russia to sell out a European nation fighting for its very existence

    What happened, and what this is all about, is that Trump refused to provide any security guarantees in exchange for half of the mineral rights.  IN other words, he wanted Z to agree to allow American companies develop and extract the minerals for half of the value, in exchange for...nothing.
