i hear some PJ fans say that new PJ over the years isn’t as strong as the first five albums. Scared of Fear is so good lyrically. Just wanted to give a shout out!
It’s ok but there are several better on the album and tons better in the catalog.

I love Scared of Fear. I think it's biggest downfall is being the first track on such a strong album. It's a great song, but by the time one gets through Upper Hand & Waiting for Stevie, SOF is a distant memory.
This is one of my favorites off DM. Would love to get it a little slower on this go around. The live version I heard in 2024 was too fast and discombobulated. The live version they played on the Stern appearance was great. It’s a banger and doesn’t need to be played at 1.5-2X the speeed of the album version.
Phenomenal song. 2nd album in a row they had a great No 1.

Absolutely adore this song. This lp. The snooker cue or pool cue at beginning sets the tone. Confirms their place in history as one of the greatest bands of all time. To pull this off was some feat. It's my go too album this past year. Amazing. I have to listen to it in its entirety. I actually skip random tracks on a playlist
