    Oh noooooo!!! Hopefully Ed isn’t sick!! He had to save his voice! Or maybe it’s good if he gets it over with now so he doesn’t have to cancel

    SNL50: The Homecoming Concert

    Performing with The Roots at SNL50: The Homecoming Concert, Eddie covers Tom Petty’s “The Waiting”, pays homage to Elvis Costello with a few seconds of “Less Than Zero” then breaks into an epic version of “Corduroy” (More). Taking a moment during the set, Eddie speaks to the audience and at-homer watchers:

    I remember back in the day getting bootleg VHS tapes at the local record shop and saw the rehearsals for PJ on SNL in 1994.  And they do the rehearsal for Eddie, Emilio and Sandler to cut a promo teaser commercial for the upcoming episode.  And Ed walks away and everyone asked where he went and the stagehand or someone goes "oh he's shy.  That's all." Glad to see Ed finally come out of his shell on SNL.  LOL.
