    Cher is a national treasure. Do yourselves a favor and read up on the back story behind the video for "If I Could Turn Back Time" if you don't already know it. Key takeaway: if you're going to let a massive pop star and sex symbol use your real estate to film a music video, don't forget to ask them what they're planning to wear for the shoot.

    Fyi, EC was not banned, he has performed on the show several times since.  He did the false start bit for at least one of those later performances.  I'm sure it's on youtube.
