Ed was great. Lonely Island montage was excellent. Post-Nirvana was simply incredible.EDIT: and Brandi Carlile's vocals were off the charts.Post edited by danofun on0

Eddie Murphy stole the show. He was amazing in the two skits he was in with Tracy Morgan.
The other Eddie was great as well on Friday! He sounded amazing and was on fire!Do you know what it's like to fall in the mud and get kicked... in the head... with an iron boot? Of course you don't, no one does. It never happens. Sorry, Ted, that's a dumb question... skip that.0 -
I can't stand this type of "reading cue cards off screen" comedy that always drags on for too long. Never been a fan (not American though, so haven't been brought up on it)
But from watching some clips on Youtube, Tom Hanks "In memoriam" thing was nice. Steve Martins monologue was funny. Bill Murry was funny. The sketches are hard to get through though. Miss seeing Bill Hader on there.
This was cute:https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ScFh0zNE0aE

The Adam Sandler 50 Years song was well done.
The Friday night music special was really good. The Arcade Fire, St. Vincent, David Byrne and Preservation Hall band was great. Bonnie Raitt still sounded good. Backstreet Boys was kind of cool to see the reaction and it sounded good.
The Post Nirvana was cool but I felt like Post Malones voice didn't lend itself to the song. Music sounded great.

I love seeing talented people doing their thing. For instance Pedro Pascal (will watch anything since Narcos), or queen Kate McKinnon (who always makes me laugh), or Julia Louis Dreyfus who is a comedy genius (especially since the brilliance that is Veep rather than Seinfeld).#Grievance20250 -
Julia Roberts told us in Notting Hill that none of it is real. Or something to that effect.0
