To me trump is the strongest argument for term limits. We're in this situation where his party has collapsed in fealty because they are too worried about getting primaried and losing their cushy gov't salary/benefits.

As much as this whole disaster is a GOP creation, if you didn’t have some feckless opposition party pushing centrist legacies into perpetual roles in Congress, people might actually get a chance to select some folks that would take on what’s happening with the attention it deserves. And, as you point out, they wouldn’t be doing it for a cushy government job for life.
