But he was a host on Fox. He can do anything. Plus his wife is on Fox. And they both were on the The Real World.

That is MORE THAN ENOUGH tv experience to handle a crisis like this.

then he's out of practice for pressers. unless orders were platitudes and as many references to fuckstick as possible.

Very tough assignment to follow Secretary Buttigieg with his high intelligence and oratory skills. Similar to President Obama, with similar skills, among others. You make very good points.

The fealty to trump is just amazing...I would love to be in the prep meetings for these people. The narrative over how to fawn over dear leader has to be off the chain.

Video can be deceiving but it looks like the heli went straight for the plane. What an army heli was doing feet from a major runway should be a very interesting answer. Hopefully the deep state doesn’t get in the way of finding out the truth.

Really odd...still a theory but I'm hearing that the heli pilot must have been focusing on a different plane...just didn't see the one he hit

I grew up and spent most of my life in the MD suburbs of DC. I flew in and out of National Airport dozens of times over the years. I used to work with my office window looking out at National. Helicopter traffic in and around the airport is a daily occurrence. JB Bolling is across the river. Pentagon almost across the street. JB Andrews  is nearby. Etc etc etc. 

Night flying over the river is completely different monster than daytime. But yes it does look like it aims right for the plane. Bring on the conspiracy  theories.

I lived up there for a spell as well.  I love the airport, love the convenience, but it's a bit of a hairy approach for sure.  You are skimming the river with Arlington buildings on one side and DC on the other.  It can be a bit disconcerting.  

Also, I believe base for those blackhawks are right there on the river.  So there is a lot of chopper traffic.

typical for dc. with penragon brass in and out all the time on a variety of aircraft. the military has hard deck rules in that area. seems they were outside that space.

there is flight tower recording already released instructing the blackhawk to fly  behind american plane.

presser said they retrieved what they believe to be one of the recorders.dont recall if they knew or believed which it came from.

Thanks for the local perspective all. Reports are this was a training mission. Just odd. And tragic.

I know this is stating the obvious... but I'll state it anyways... 

The MAGA crowd and Trump himself are obviously against DEI and wokeness.  The anti-DEI movement points not to the clear bigotry of those against it, but points to the concept of "you gotta earn it and be qualified" for positions and jobs, not given things because of your race, gender, etc. 

Then I look at the people Trump is putting in charge of high level agencies within the government and it's completely absurd. People who quite clearly are not qualified, but only given these opportunities because of loyalty to Trump.  

So for the MAGA folks.. some of whom I think are on here.... what say you?
