This would be correct. Bring on a summer us tour!!!!RatherStarved said:
I’m not a teacher but I guess the difference is that most people can schedule vacation time to travel to shows at any time of year but teachers can’t book time off during the school year.kmcmanus said:
Do teachers realize that the rest of us need to take time off from work no matter when the show falls, summer or not?JeBurkhardt said:I will keep beating the hope drum for Summer shows in the US so that teachers can attend out of town shows without having to miss instruction time.I'll ride the wave where it takes me......0

I just checked what day October 22nd falls on, just in case. It's a Wednesday, btw. 😉

It ain't 10 but I went 6 between Boston shows. Family obligations mean I really have to pick my spots if I'm traveling for anything more me-focused.MJ178168 said:

Nowadays there are so many good shows coming around. Too many to keep up with, especially if you're in a city like Boston or Detroit. It's very liberating to go from Pearl Jam is my favorite band to Pearl Jam is one of my favorite bands with their current touring schedule.

I know the northern cities have bigger draws and likely bigger fanbases...but it's been 22 years since we had the guys here in Raleigh (with 2016 getting cancelled) so we're used to having to travel.1996 Charlotte

The original 2024 announcement had dates through to November in the first place. I agree that more legs seem very possible if not straight up likely but it’s slightly different, I don’t think anyone was expecting December shows last yeardarwinstheory said:Things definitely seem to be possible for later this year.
One thing I know is the 2024 tour rumor thread was locked due to no further 2024 rumors very shortly after the 2024 dates were announced. This thread.....not so much...0

Strange how the band rarely plays some large cities in their main markets. I think the most extreme is probably Houston in the US and Birmingham in England, both cities well over 1m people. Think it’s 20+ years since they played at eitherRatherStarved said:

I think Birmingham being fairly equidistant from London and Liverpool/Manchester probably impacts that. I didn't realize it had been that long for Houston -- that's stranger than Birmingham to me.drfox said:

For sure! I go to a bunch of other shows around the area. With family obligations you have to pick your spots. So many great bands to see.pjl44 said:

Ok but what’s the timeframe? Whole career? Last 10 years? There are obviously a bunch of places they used to hit regularly but haven’t in a decade so I’m not sure what I’m supposed to take from this without context0
