It’s hard to compare Fenway, Wrigley and Grizzly Stadium to anything on this leg. The more comparables would be MSG-Hollywood, Philly-Pittsburgh, Seattle-Atlanta?, Raleigh N2-Vancouver, Raleigh N1-Las Vegas? and I have no idea about Nashville. Of course there will be tickets as the dates approach but I personally would like to have a bird in the hand.

LA last year they released an entire wing section at face 24 hours before the show. I hand picked a seat.Vancouver had tons of availability a week or two beforehand. I had an okay ticket that I couldn’t sell. It’s not always, but often the case, that it’s better to wait. Definitely don’t buy $800 tickets.PJ: 2013: London (ON); Buffalo; 2014: Cincinnati; 2016: Sunrise, Miami, Toronto 1-2, Wrigley 2; 2018: London (UK) 1, Milan, Padova, Sea 2, Wrigley 1-2, Fenway 1-2; 2021: SHN, Ohana, Ohana Encore 1-2; 2022: LA 1-2, Phx, Oak 1-2, Fresno, Copenhagen, Hyde Park 1-2; Quebec, Ottawa, Hamilton, Toronto; MSG, Camden, Nashville, Louisville, St. Louis, OKC; 2023: St. Paul 1-2, Chicago 1-2; Fort Worth 2; Austin 1-2; 2024: Vancouver 1-2, LV 1-2, LA 1-2, Napa, Barcelona 1-2; Indy; Chicago 1-2; MSG 1-2; Philly 2; Boston 2; Ohana 1-2; 2025: FL 1-2, ATL 1-2, Nash 1-2, Pit 1-2.

Nashville, will be like LA last year.. I did the same picked up section 126 R8 ( first wing mike side on the Aisle ) for LA 2, at 3:35PM day of - face value standards ( Whole section from row 7 back went up.. I did row 8 to be on the inside aisle.RatherStarved said:LA last year they released an entire wing section at face 24 hours before the show. Exactly. They must take the fan base for a bunch of idiots. Pitt 2 for $948 to sit in literally the worst section of the building. Anyone that has had the pleasure of sitting on the "floor" behind not only the PIT, but a full other section of floor seats knows that these are anything but premium and are worse than the last row of the upper deck behind the stage. You'd be better off watching the show from the concourse.RatherStarved said:It’s not always, but often the case, that it’s better to wait. Definitely don’t buy $800 tickets.0 -
On another note, Pittsburgh night 2 tickets are available on stubhub now for $248. They were $296 on December 27th. Just shows you that the demand isn't what it looks like.0

They don't need the entire fan base to be a bunch of fools. Just enough to buy the inventory. The overpriced seats obviously sell or they would've stopped doing platinum by now.RP123663 said:

Hollywood may be a tough ticket, but tickets will be available for most shows. Just wait. If you are traveling and want to make sure you have tickets then you might want to pay more. There are always tickets available 24 hrs before showtime for most arena shows. Even for MSG people were posting tickets on the forum. Just wait. TM is preying on those that are panic buying.0

Obviously? You have no idea if they sell or not. Are you scouring the arena floor for 2 empty chairs? No way they are selling a crap seat for nearly a grand. There are a lot of dumb people in the world, but nobody is going to light an extra $800 on fire to get a worse seat than they can for a fraction of that price. Again, the "Premium" is just a lame tactic to try to fool people into thinking that's the going rate for the show. Your assumption does not trump the fact that the same seats have been listed for weeks with no movement and face value tickets to Raleigh are getting zero interest at $175 but you want to believe someone is going to spend $750 for a worst seat because its simply labeled as premium? This is accurate. I've also noticed the people that are panic buying now are buying from the secondary markets for around $300 for decent seats. That will come down as we are already seeing that trend, even for Pittsburgh.Get_Right said:There are always tickets available 24 hrs before showtime for most arena shows. I'm not saying that every premium listing sells just because it's listed as such. The program as a whole is obviously profitable or they would have dropped it. It's not a matter of thinking that the entire fanbase is a bunch of suckers. Most people won't be suckered into it, but enough will to keep the strategy in place.RP123663 said:

$232 for N2 Pittsburgh sold a few days ago on Stub hub. These are pretty solid seats too.

On the other hand, TM for the same show has section 4 floor seats (awful view) listed for $948 for a much, much worse seat. Nobody is dumb enough to touch those at that price or anywhere near that price.

I've kept a small log of certain tickets to see what happens. I've noticed the same "Premium" listings are put up and taken down randomly from time to time. So, when they go off the board, they obviously weren't sold, just taken down. Then they relist them to see if any dummy accidently clicks on them. What I am waiting to see is if/when they get listed at a lower price and what that looks like. Again, why would anyone buy a ticket for a grand when they can easily grab much better seats for 1/4 of that price? There is literally nothing premium about these seats. Its just a premium attempt at a scam.SHZA said:

There are plenty of resale listings at close to $1,000. I think prezintense pointed out a new one yesterday for Raleigh. Someone obviously bought those. We see it every year. Why would anyone do that? Who knows, but they do.RP123663 said:

The premium tickets will either sell at the initial price or somewhere along the way when the price is gradually dropped and eventually becomes face value. Even if they just sold 5 pairs per show it could be the monetary equivalent of 2-3 dozen face value tickets. That floor 4 pair for Raleigh is not going to sell at $900 but to the people who would be inclined to buy PJ Premium at all it sure makes those 106s look like a deal. This Premium crap is such bad optics and rubs a ton of people the wrong way but it could mean an extra idk $100k for the tour when it’s all said and done and all it cost them is some people complaining on social media.0

It is all TM trying to create high price demand by having tickets pop up and then disappear. Sometimes they are purchased and sometimes not. I believe it is all automated and they will keep cycling through until the tickets are sold at the highest possible price. They are trying to determine the highest market price for each individual seat through automation. At some point TM will cut their losses and the market will determine what people are willing to pay. Unfortunately, there are buyers out there for the outrageously priced seats. I have no inside information, this is just my take on what has been happening.0

this is the bottom line. They are a business and they are trying to sell their product for the most amount of money people are willing to pay. They won't cut their losses at some point, they will just make less profit off each seat once they lower the price.Get_Right said:It is all TM trying to create high price demand by having tickets pop up and then disappear. By cut their losses I meant lower the price, profit loss. But it is the same as what you are saying.0 -
