He writes spy novels and while he worked as a journalist, he doesn’t have a background in infectious diseases, medicine or immunology. You are drawing personal conclusions and sharing them with us based on two "independent" sources that are not even named, completely ignoring that later in the blog this guy admits that the paper is currently in unreviewed "pre-print", meaning the writer of this blog has no idea what the research says.
