Bring Back Priority
Options
There have been so many ticket methods with Ten Club since I became a member in late 1996. Seems to me that "Priority" was the best of them all. I'm sure somebody can remind me of some problems with that system, but it seemed like the best and most fair method they ever used.
Sure, it was probably possible to miss out on a show you selected first, but it would have to be a huge, highly coveted show like Madison Square Garden or something. This new system just ain't it. People going 0 for 10?! That's a loyal fan, willing to travel to see the band. That's ridiculous that they can't even score one show, while others are scoring 4 or 5 from what I've seen.

Missing with priority was definitely still a high possibility, assuming you put GA as your top pick and seats for 2nd. Maybe a best of both worlds scenario would be ideal, with priority back in play AND the GA+Reserved option.2003 Clarkston MI #2 | 2004 Grand Rapids MI | 2013 London ON | 2014 Detroit MI | 2016 Toronto ON #1 | 2025 Nashville TN #20

It’s too complicated for some fans. 10Cs words not mine.Truth is Ticketmaster kept fucking up the lotto and the fans intelligence was the reason they used to take it out to make it easier on them0

I feel like the new strategy is to register for as many shows as you can (or can afford), see how the lottery shakes out, then make your plans based on which shows you won, and count on selling the ones you don't want on F2F... I don't love it.

I do miss that system but I think the switch to TM probably killed it. It's a level of sorting that TM likely can't do and 10C likely doesn't want to mess with. I don't blame them.Remember the Thomas Nine !! (10/02/2018)

Bring back priority! If you had a Reserved choice as your #1, you got tickets almost guaranteed.0

Totally agree, the priority system was so much better. Some people getting multiple shows while others getting none while putting in for multiple shows just doesn't make any sense.2000 Pinkpop

Absolutely 💯% and also the odds/percentage calculator for each show like the 2016 tour. If someone doesn't understand priorities is on them. These are the same people who can't read and understand simple instructions on the email and come here asking dumb questions.0

Honestly, for me, there's nothing worse than greedy whiners. As someone with probably one of the lower club member numbers on here, I think the change they need to put in place is to not allow 10c members to go in for all the shows. If they announce 10 shows, 10c members should only be allowed to go for 1 or 2 of them or something (for the 10c lottery). It's painful to see some of us getting almost everything, and then complaining they didn't get 100% of their shows, and so many other members leaving with nothing. If you got tickets to a show through 10c, you should be happy. Period. Share the wealth and spread the love around. If bringing back priority accomplishes that, I'm all for it.Post edited by Lyons Den Productions on0

Especially with such a small tour like this one, only 10 shows. Limit folks to being able to win no more than say 2 shows. Gives more folks a chance at something.
And I have no skin in the 2025 game, didn't enter the lottery. Clearly the system is flawed and inequitable. This weekend we rock Portland0 -
Completely agree. Bring it back0
-
Maybe they should limit each member only 4 tixs max per tour.
(2 pairs or 4 singles).
Take care of everyone 4 tickets 1st.
If any extra tickets left lotto them out for all members wanting them.0 -
You can’t deny me! (Well, you did) Bring priority back folks. Please.Pittsburgh 2013

Don't disagree on the general idea of limiting number of shows to put in for, but if the band can sell massive amounts of seats for multiple shows and then put it on the fans to sell at face, I don't see why they'd limit that. It'd also likely not fix the smaller tours or cities where there's high demand regardless (MSG, Wrigley, etc)
This makes the most sense, since GA draws with priority were typically longshot bets that could've negatively impacted your ability to go to shows.Missing with priority was definitely still a high possibility, assuming you put GA as your top pick and seats for 2nd. Maybe a best of both worlds scenario would be ideal, with priority back in play AND the GA+Reserved option.0 -
The short tours are also contributing to some of these issues. If they announced 30 shows at once, you likely wouldn't have someone putting in for all 30. When they use to have more shows announced at once it also increased the odds of getting tickets.0

Why? Then there are endless threads about this or that show had 99% probability and I didn't get it with my #1 priority, but so and so got it with their 18th priority. It still seems most of the complete misses are people who don't read and only sign up for the Artist Presale (old Verified Fan). As long as I have an earlier chance at tickets I'm happy. If I don't score through the lottery there are always tickets available down the road, even more so now with Fan to Fan. No issue with the current process from me. Regardless of the method of distributing tickets, there are more people that want them than there are tickets.1998-06-30 Mpls | 2006-07-06 Las Vegas | 2010-05-03 Kansas City | 2011-07-01 St. Louis EV | 2011-07-02 Mpls EV | 2011-09-03 PJ20

They could go true old school with priority and members only get 1 show a tour and that's it. Rest go to general public sale. Would almost be worth it to see peoples heads explode around here if they did that. Not sure many remember the days you only got to pick one show....got a mind full of questions and a teacher in my soul...0

If you really want to go old school we'll be lining up by the letter of your last name day of show to pick up tickets, lolPost edited by LS164963 on0
