So still no real rumors. There are always holds, talks, and social media chatter. It really does not mean anything. I don't get the hate for festivals. Enjoy the holidays with friends and family and be ready for a Q1 2025 announcement if they are playing in 2025.
Shorter sets, higher prices, larger crowds, logistic variables
    1. Last time PJ played Jazzfest they played 26 songs which on average is more than they’ve usually played this year. The set is also during the day and probably wont have any visuals on stage.

    2. A ticket per day to jazzfest averages about $100. I don’t think you could get in a building for under $100 on the US legs of the DM tour this year.

    3. Thousands of PJ fans singing along. I don’t see a problem, but i know where you’re coming from.

    4. Whats not to love about coming down to NOLA?
    1. That was 2016. The headlining shows I saw that year had 10 more songs and ran an extra hour.

    2. God bless Jazz Fest being an outlier on this front.

    3. Every Pearl Jam show I go to has thousands of fans singing.

    4. I love New Orleans and was there most recently in March. If it's not my favorite American city, it's unquestionably Top 3. I would much rather have a sick dinner then hit Maple Leaf, Tipi's, etc. over a few nights while I'm there than go to a big festival.

    5. Thousands and thousands of Bey fans bored out of their minds during PJs set.

Could you imagine a bunch of folks PJs age standing in the hot sun or pouring rain all day with no seats? Bands in their sixties playing festivals are not being cool with their fans of the same age.

Had a really bad nightmare. I don't often dream about Pearl Jam. But last night I dreamt that they were announcing Tottenham Hotspur Stadium again for their next gig in London. And the entire upper tier didn't go on sale for the launch. I hope that's not a bad omen.

But three days of good fun. Tons of live music with friends. Yes we all want PJ in an intimate place but so what? Just have fun.
For that kind of scene I prefer something like a My Morning Jacket multi-night run.

I dig a festival if it's small and curated well. This year will be my 15th Newport Folk Fest. A lot of these bigger ones are just not run well though.

I have done a number of MMJ runs in Chicago, Red Rocks, NYC.....those are not really festivals. I like larger festivals if the line up is good. My buds and I love ACL and Lolla, mostly because of the cities they are in. Yes they are crowded, yes lines are long, yes, the sound is not as great as an arena, but if the weather is good we always have a blast. If Pearl Jam does a US festival, I will definitely consider going. I had a great time at Sea Hear Now.

Yes not festivals but was saying that's my preferred way to have the "three days of good fun and tons of live music with friends" part

Cool. I miss MMJ's travel packages. Those were great deals and very well run.

That had to be the smallest show they have played since 1992 that wasn't some special theater show.

I know we have some good rumours on next year, but nothing near as strong as those from Facemeltor last year and Dimitris in previous years. Just wondering if there will be no shows in 2025. Everyone seems to be positioning today’s show as the final show of the Dark Matter World tour…..

It's been a minute since South America got some love. I'd be sad if they didn't get a visit this time around, but it's been a long tour and they aren't as young as they used to be.

I think there are enough rumors for 2025 that at least something must be coming.

Is there anything remotely solid for Detroit? Or is that just assumption?

Hopefully there is a Milwaukee date
There was a date in Fall of 2020. The sound in the arena is great
