Again, WILD to carry Russia's water.

The GOP has been doing it since the patriarch of a family that admittedly gets lots of funding from Russians became its face.  Feels like they say “America First” so often to try to convince us…

Zelensky could have ended this war 2 years ago but refused to negotiate.  Fast forward to now with a million dead and he’s laughing all the way to the bank, but not for long.
Or maybe he knew there was no negotiating. Do you honestly think Putin would’ve just backed the troops out and left it alone after getting Crimea? He wants the entire country and the Trumps will make sure he gets a significant piece of it since it’s in their best interest to help him out.

It’s funny how you make it Zelenskys fault that people are dead.
A deal was done but he rejected it.
    what was the deal?

Yea. Please do share the deal.

Ah that’s why I missed it, I don’t read Russian news propaganda. No wonder Trump won with this level of fact checking

Hey man. Trump is angry and vengeful against the same people they want to be angry and vengeful towards. Lay off them!

Agreed, bootleg.  Sadly, I must add that the others who will hurt the most will be migrants and LGBTQ+ folks.

And what will suffer most of all, for a time, will be the planet. But the planet is also the strongest.  I remember when COVID first hit and people were sheltering in place all over the world.  Wildlife flourish in a very short period of time.  The air got cleaner everywhere.  Nature bats last.  But now, with the Felon in charge, the planet will suffer quite a bit for some time and the impact will be great, especially on mammals (I assume everyone here knows humans are mammals).  There will be a great need to clean up the mess after these next four years in order to, hopefully, repair some of the damage.

Not just dems. It’s anyone who doesn’t pledge allegiance to their orange god. Plenty of republicans have been ousted too.

Also the idea of Zelinski laughing as he deposits money into a war torn bank is funny.

As if the US is just giving him a check of money that he has to sign the back of and cash at a local bank and is not just giving him weapons the military industrial Complex manufactured and the money is staying in the US and going to contractors, manufacturers and their employees while costing the US NO lives and having them fight our ideological enemy of 70 years. Man he owned us. Getting away with it! Egg on our face!

This may be a lit long for some (I found it worth every minute), and it may have already been posted somewhere here, but this interview between Jon Steward and Heather Cox Richardson is great.  I found it hugely helpful.  I would venture most everyone here with an open mind and willingness to listen would find it useful as well.

  • I hate to say it but we’re not going to survive the four years of POOTWH being COOTWH with what they’re intending to implement. And given the cult and the total saturation of their “news” sources, there’s no breaking through that haze. Good freaking luck.

Great post glad I watched it but I’m not an optimist I’m a pessimist and believe that now that he has total control & power he will trample any sort of resistance against him like they do in China or Turkey or Russia by brutal force!
    so two major red flags
1- Dismantling of independent news outlets
2- jailing of journalists and political enemies
those are the things folks should be looking for!

They don't know english, only russian.  So they can only re-post talking points.  If you ask the question in russian you may get an answer.

Yeah the worst part is that his victory gives him credence. Just like his first term, it's ok to openly insult LGBTQ+, talk down to women (all women reporters are "nasty" "low IQ", etc) he'll call all immigrants criminals, etc. And it will all be ok because he won.
