Prices never return to what they were. That's called deflation and a sign of a shrinking economy and a terrible sign. Surely you learned that in college, right?teskeinc said:
Build Back Better morphed into Inflation Increasing Act minus some pork to appease Manchin. Everything they did resulted in inflation. Why did they tell us inflation was going to be transitory? Why did prices never return to where they were? Can you ever admit Biden/Harris made 1 mistake? Is Bidenomics working? Is Kamala still proud of Bidenomics?mrussel1 said:
Weren't you going to identify the law that created all the worldwide inflation? The first two your said made no logical sense since one was never passed and the other came after inflation surged. Surely you can't be misinformed yet again....teskeinc said:Does anyone think they should have made Kamala the “Hurricane Czar”?
Second, so again, you are telling us that inflation was zero, but then Biden passed an act and randomly called it the "Inflation Reduction Act" and it caused inflation. Makes total sense. If he hadn't called it that, then there wouldn't be inflation either.
Is Bidenomics working? That's just a silly political phrase. I don't care about that. Is the economy healthy and inflation at 2%, slightly lower than the fed target? Yes. Yes it is. Can one attribute it to the laws passed? Maybe. You never know. Presidents are saddled with the economy whether it's fair or not. But I'm sure you know that too, from your extensive historical studies of cyclical economics and the political ramifications.0 -

I consider myself moderate. A lot of you guys here are probably to the left of economically. But the party is pretty much pro-ish business, center left. So I'm good with that. Better than ridiculous tariffs, exiting trade deals and handing them to the Chinese and pro-Russian garbage. More importantly, I think that isolationism, tariffs and economic prosperity that isn't shared multi-nationally is a recipe for war. We've had 75 years of intercontinental peace, probably the first time in 600 years for that, and I think we owe it to integrated economies.gimmesometruth27 said:

So the administration effectively lied to us when they said inflation was transitory? Is it possible for the first time ever in AMT history a radical liberal could admit their fearless leader might have lied and made an actual mistake. Nah… never could just pivot to it was Jan 6 fault.mrussel1 said:
But I'm sure you know that too, from your extensive historical studies of cyclical economics and the political ramifications.0
