Wow, that's an amazing setlist. I feel like everyone who went to any shows this year before Philly but didn't go to the Philly shoes have a right to feel a bit jealous, haha.

  • Honestly….another top 5-6 show post Covid. Encore was becoming a little MSG2-y but completely salvaged. Alone and Rats were SO good. Besides the beginning of the encore, the only down moment was Wreckage and Wishlist. Once was awesome

For me personally this show was better than the first night in philly IMO. I was just on cloud nine for some reason before the show even started. And when they opened with Of The Girl was ecstatic (that was my white whale song). I also heard a few other songs which I hadn't before like Alone.  Heard my 2 fav songs off DM , Scared of Fear and Waiting for Stevie.

Had a great time volunteering at the wishlist party. Also somehow got a poster which was great! Don't think i'm gonna get much sleep tonight.

  • Second night was great! Crowd energy was a little lower, and mostly my section I think. Night 1 I was high up and the rows behind me were singing so loudly! Tonight, I was still a bit high and my section was a bit quiet. (4 people next to me left multiple times and once rats started they never came back).

In My Tree was amazing! Loved hearing that. Hadn’t heard it since 2003! So happy to hear WFS and Upper Hand. Was hopeful to hear Setting Sun at one of these two shows. Have to chase that one down. If Gigaton showed, I would have liked to hear Superblood or Quick Escape (attended 3 Giga shows and never heard them).

Very happy to hear Animal again and the crowd energy on Betterman was great! So fun watching Mike and Boom during Crazy Mary. Alive into RITFW and YL were so much fun and the crowd was pumped.

So happy to make this trip with my son and sister! Great day bicycling at Valley Forge on Sunday, pizza and cheesesteaks at Angelo’s (next level!!!), and a wonderful time at the Museum of Art and Rodin Museum. Had fun chatting to other fans about coming to see the shows, and a lot of fun to get so many comments from the museum staff and hotel about so many PJ fans in town! (How much did we contribute to the local economy? 😂)

While our hotel overbooked us Saturday night and sent us to a Quality Inn, we got a free night’s stay and free breakfast this morning, so pretty good all around!

Getting up super early to make the drive back to Atlanta in the morning.

Thanks for a great vacation, Philly!

New York had the PJ belt for a pretty good stretch and Boston has been a contender for a long time.  But Philly erased all doubt with these last two shows that they are the undisputed PJ champions on the US tour.  Well done!

I have definitely heard louder “single moments” at a PJ concert (e.g., Betterman at MSG), but these two Philly shows had the loudest “sustained” crowd energy over two nights I have ever experienced.

What a show! I thought the encore was pure fire when the band came back out. That version of Stevie was incredible and Rats..thank you sign people. That made me so so happy. I sure hope insignificance is played in Baltimore. That is my number 2 sing to hear live after Release which continues to elude me.

Watching Eds gratefulness all night over the crowd was so heartwarming. I just adore this band so much.

Loudest Betterman I’ve heard since msg 2010. What a night. What a two night stand. Incredible.

Amazing show. The sound of the band with the acoustics in the arena was really crisp
and clear. Heard everything so well. Hoping Baltimore got better since 2013. Best band in the world!

Also got to watch about 4 songs during the main set with Glen Hansard! Popped up in ga right next to me. Gave him a fist bump, of course some drunk started  hugging him and being slightly annoying but GH handled it like a pro with a smile. What a champ.

Was supposed to be $220 (split 3 ways) but like 4 drivers cancelled on us and finally convinced someone to take us but he basically extorted us for a $100 cash tip. Still worth it IMO to be home at 130ish vs nearly 3 if I had to take trains.  Pretty damn tired today though…

I honestly can't say which show was better. 52 songs, 4 repeats which makes 48 unique songs over 2 nights. Rarities like Red Mosquito and Alone with the crowd singing every word. Amazing versions of new songs - Won't Tell, Waiting for Stevie.

Pearl Jam and Philly - what a love story!
