    Oh man... I'm so sorry for your loss. 42 is way too f'ing young.

    I'm happy you were able to both enjoy last night and grieve at the same time.

    Sounds like it was a great show.  Judging by the setlist post, looks like there was a LOT of talking between songs.  Curious if that took away from the flow of the show with so much startt/stop?

    does anyone ever take the time to do (we used to, I do when I can) an actual song by song cool review? we are so lazy. 5 horizons did this for years,  I see questions about banter etc.... thanks @Kat and @Sea and yea @dimitrispearljam among others for the efforting here, but surely jammers we can do better!

    I remember doing this in hotel rooms the night after!! Ill pitch in for MSG 1 and Philly 1 :)

    How do the hardcore fans find these setlist?  Seems many of my favourite hard hitting songs are missed from the setlists show after show.

    I'm pretty sure he went on right around 7 or 7:05. I don't really know his catalog by name ("When Your Mind's Made Up" was phenomenal), but I was pretty blown away by his performance. Looking forward to seeing him again Thursday at Wrigley and may even go see him Wednesday at The Salt Shed.

    I think expectations have to be adjusted with the band and Ed getting older.  Times have slowly been changing for awhile.

    I really enjoyed last night, especially after being sorta put off by the whole setlist shirt thing. The opening slot is one of the places I really still enjoy GTF, so nice to hear it there. NAIS is always welcome, and it had been a long time for me. Was totally surprised to see HTI, especially mid set. Had been chasing for years, finally got my first in Vegas, and then a second almost right away.  

    Even 3 shows into hearing all of it, I’m still pleasantly surprised as to how great the new stuff is sounding. Theyre consistently some of my highlights, and that’s really rare for me with any band.

    We took our 1 year old to the show and that was a very new and different experience. She had a good time in the pit for the first 5 or so songs and then didn’t want the ear muffs on anymore. Spent the rest of the show bobbing in and out of the stadium. Bummer to not get to spend all night in the pit, but was still a lot of fun

    That cover was always weird, yet iconic and mystical, for 20+ years. Paired nicely with that album. Then someone said, hey- it’s I-84 in Hartford. Oh.

    He hates the cover, or he hates the fact that someone sussed out the underlying image?

    I still love the cover, and feel an added personal connection to it, which is nice since it's my favorite album of all-time. I have a blow-up of it that my local record store had for the OKNOTOK release framed and hanging at the top of the stairs in my house.
