    The bell curve....we hit the peak and are now on the decline.   24 songs is still a lot, that was a super long set once upon a time.  I would  rather have 14 songs Ed can sing than mic hold sing alongside and Ed being ruined. Like Steven Tyler.

    Stop playing cover and stick to PJ songs please

    This would be a good argument, besides the fact that Pearl Jam have played 17 shows this year and have played 111 different songs in total, and only 15 of those 111 were covers….

    thats only 13.5% of the songs they played…. But go on with this ridiculous “covers” argument in a length of show thread

    2 less pearl jam songs a show based on those stats, I would rather see Pearl Jam play Pearl Jam songs, why is that ridiculous?

    I see it happening at some point. But it won't be frequently like it use to be.

    For people thinking they might go longer on special occasions, I’d just note that post covid, no last show of a tour, no hometown show, no favorite city show, etc., has been notably longer than any of the others.     I agree 100% with this post.

    They’ve played Seattle and Chicago with days off between, they played MSG on the anniversary of 9/11, they played Toronto (a favourite city of the band) that was a single show with days off, and none of these were more than 25 songs.  

    And I also agree, I’m happy we’re mainly getting 25 songs in 2024 as opposed to 22-23 songs.  Some EU headlong shows in 2022 only had 20 songs.
