Since we have to wait a week to get Bonnaroo I thought I would throw this question out to all posters. What do you think is the best live official release ever of any band?
The Concert in Central Park (the original one, Sept 19, 1981) by Simon&Garfunkel is unbeatable.

I have a love/hate relationship with that album. The backing band is cheesy as hell, but Bowie's vocals send shivers down my spine. "Sweet Thing" is sublime.
I love David Live, but I think the Ziggy Stardust Motion Picture Soundtrack is better
Live Dead.The boys have been putting out live stuff longer than any band that I know of.This is from 1969.They set the standard of what we have today.With that said Pearl Jam must have been paying attention.Live music is where its at.
Glad to see someone mention that all time greatest live album, LIVE DEAD. The sounds coming out of this thing have been altering my mind for ages. Runners up are Allmans Fillmore East and Little Feat Waiting For Columbus. Both sound just amazing and what a live album should be like.

Oh yea, JIMI HENDRIXS' Band of Gypsys. Believe it or not, but that was one of the first albums i listen to, when i first got into music. Yes, i had a older brother, that was already into Hendrix. I also like alot of your list: Stones-Get Your Ya Yas out, Lou Reed-R&R, Neil Young-Live Rust, and of course, LED ZEPPELINS' How The West Was Won. HEY!! are you sure we didn't party together? Because i use to party to those albums, ALOT!!!>LOL!!!

Live Live in Paris - The Backyard Babies
Great hard rock band from Denmark.
Saw them open for Social D. and they just kick ass.
I'll ride the wave where it takes me...
Weekend on the Rocks 8 disc set I felt was really good.
Anything DMB live with back up singers gets the immediate boot as far as best DMB.
