Vaccines are the best defense we have against infectious diseases, but no vaccine is actually 100% safe or effective for everyone because each person’s body reacts to vaccines differently. [1, 2, 3]

Maybe your gov't lied to you, but mine didn't.
It didn't come from a lab in Wuhan. Later: It very well may have come from a lab in Wuhan, we'll never know.
Vaccines will prevent transmission of Covid. Later: It will reduce the risk, but prevent you from having severe symptoms...usually.
We must maintain 6 feet distance for safety. Later: That number was basically arbitrarily decided and wasn't based on science.
Your gov't lied to you every step of the way.

I trusted the doctors, scientists, never trump. I trusted those intelligent enough to recognize that the % who lived having gotten the vaccine (for those of you who refused) was substantially more than those who were adversely affected. It’s simple math. I’m sorry you can’t see that. The people who died from covid who refused the vaccine even said before they passed that they were wrong for not taking it.A simple thank you to all of us Guinea pigs who SAVED humanity by having the balls to get the vaccine would suffice.0 -

Because of that, I have lichen planus on my arms and sometimes on my chest, and I have oral lichen planus that has taken a lot of the joy out of eating. That all sucks.I'm also fairly certain that a lot of people died of COVID before the vaccines came along, and that sucks even more.I know for certain that I'm still alive, and that as much as it is uncomfortable much of the time, I can still eat enough to stay nourished. That is awesome.I also know for certain that a lot of people are alive today because of the vaccines. That is even more awesome! And lastly, we all know that the likelihood of having an adverse reaction the the vaccine is small and the chances of it saving your life is big.So really, let's just stop this silly nonsense argument and realize nothing is perfect, and that a vaccine, any vaccine, will affect a small percentage of people negatively (frankly, tough shit, that's life*), and a lot of people get to live because we have vaccines.Hallelujah!*P.S. regarding the "(frankly, tough shit, that's life*) statement, I mean that only about myself or might say that about the trouble humans in general have caused. I would never direct a statement like that specifically to another person suffering an illness or disorder.
BUT you need to know that your BRAVERY, risking it all in spite of pure proof or years of research, has contributed to the vaccine becoming safer and more effective. Especially since you report your symptoms, etc. and see your doctor. Why you? Who fucking knows when there’s soooo many (insert choice word) in this bat crazy world. Maybe God knows you'll do the right thing and knew he/she/it could rely on you.Putting you on my prayer list to feel better soon.0 -

I was trying to convey that you believe in climate change, science, vaccines, etc. and that the adverse conditions should be saved for those who rejected every portion of the pandemic.Sorry for the confusion. As for religion, I practice my faith (he/she/it…God?) with no religion attached so I hope you know I wasn’t trying to force an explanation of your beliefs, change them, etc. I know you probably knew that - I’m just making sure everyone else knows. If I get reported and banned again I’m still gonna be praying for your recovery Mr. B.0 -

I just watched a video of a guy who admitted he was full on vaccine supportive, and then he slowly descended into the madness of being an anti vaxxer, and still is. He fully supports the idea that ALL vaccines are poison. Every single one of them. That the polio vaccine was useless. If we had "only gotten rid of using pesticides". Well, dipshit, my mom and her sister both got polio at a young age from unpasteurized milk. The polio vaccine saved millions of lives. Said the measles vaccine was totally useless.

Your gov't lied to you every step of the way.I’m kind of proud of myself for having the same intelligent thought as you!No one knew anything about this virus so how could they know what to advise us to do? How could we know that what we did wasn’t going to work? How, at the time, could we know that wearing masks, social distancing, working from home, etc. wasn’t going to work?So what got rid of the virus at its height of impact/destruction? Please enlighten the rest of us.I choose to believe it was all those things that had an impact on controlling and ending the pandemic- especially the vaccine. Those of us vaccinated have all posted that we never thought any of it was perfect, How many of you have admitted that maybe, just maybe, some (or all) worked to end/control covid?I’m glad we can converse as adults. I’m at the point where I will respect the opposite opinion when you all start respecting ours.0 -
Anecdotally I can say, I remained working as a truck driver. essential and all that. did have need to stop at truck stops for bathroom breaks and food/snacks/coffee. At the height of it. masked/distanced. being exposed to drivers from god knows where and god knows how they masked/distanced.did get it after being vaxxed, but also after relaxing the masking/distancing I had been doing and directly after roger waters.incredibly mild, had summer colds more bothersome....._____________________________________SIGNATURE________________________________________________
