Nope, Mike did. And it was a guitar tech or someone who dragged him back up on the stage, not Jeff. Mike was fine!
Mike wasn’t fine. Jeff turned to him and asked if he was ok and Mike answered no. He wasn’t the same from that point onward - he was hurt.
100 percent. I was side stage mike and after the fall he wasn’t the same as so far as interacting with the crowd. Still played phenomenal though.

Awesome show. The new material sounded so much better than I assumed the first show of the tour would sound. Can’t wait for Monday!

Oh, well that sucks. I didn't notice.

How do you know what Jeff asked? Could have been „Are you hurt?“ instead of „Are you okay?“.

I mean, I watched the footage. Mike didn't even stop playing when he fell off or while he was dragged back up, lol, which is just amazing... frankly, it doesn't look to me like he was hurt, or if he was, I think it was probably pretty minor. I could be wrong obviously, but seeing it live and on the video, he looked okay to me.

Same impression on me looking at the video. Jeff isn‘t even talking to him between the fall and them leaving the stage after Porch.

I absolutely LOVE the new album. No skips for me. I do feel like they should split it though over two nights. 22-25 songs a night , 9 is too many. A lot of albums got completely skipped. I don’t mind ditching gigaton but 1 from vitalogy and nothing from binaural -lb…. I’m probably just splitting hairs at this point though. It would also do wonders to change up the ending. Setting sun is fucking awesome and worked as a closer but use alive as a main set closer every now and then and put literally anything else from ten in that spot. Just to spice it up.

I wasn’t there, not complaining, I just love dissecting and discussing setlists.

The setlists jumped the shark when Ed started calligraphy.
Still really fun to follow along.
    Just a little jealous...

Agreed. But I would Alive somewhere in the middle of the first set, just to mess with people. Kinda like when they played Porch early at MSG. No need to take Alive out, just mix it up!

As a guy who prefers their more established
material, I was dreading but mentally ready for  the possibility of 6 new album songs.  9 was a lot. That being said there’s still nowhere I’d rather have been last night.

Absolutely! Just playing porch in the number 5? Spot at msg completely changed the energy for the song. It was insane. I’m not saying cut Alive, just shake it up! And while we’re at it

    OPEN WITH YL AT MSG!!

He fell during Porch. I was looking over to that side because you can only watch Ed dad dance for so long during the instrumental. Major props to Mike and the rest of the band, because unless you were watching you couldn't tell anything had happened.

Also after 23 shows that was my first one without Evenflow. :open_mouth:
Different flow to the setlist which was nice(mostly for the left knee). Great to see the energy last night, can't wait for Monday!

I had my hometown girlfriend in the merch line at 8:00 a.m. and we picked you up a little something. Thanks for your gorgeous pre-party listening shirt! I loved wearing it last night. The guy behind me was from Manchester and he kept singing so wonderfully and had such a good vibe about him.
