not good. it’s not like DM is DSOTM.

It is a great album and personally I am stoked that they are bringing in some new stuff live, it isn't like they aren't known for that anyways
“great”?  not sure about that. better than the last 3, but that bar is low. I’m conflicted on PJ…bow out gracefully, go classic rock, quit? I dunno. I really don’t need to hear any of the last 4 albums in concert. maybe DM, but in small doses.
If I had known then what I know now...

I can only speak for myself, I personally think it is a great album and don't think the bar is low at all because I think the last 3 were fairly solid too! Different strokes I suppose

Not a fan of Backspacer, and didn't like Lightning Bolt and Gigaton at all. Dark Matter is really solid. I think it's their best since Riot Act, and it's growing, rather than already being skippable.

To me, Gigaton was a leap above Lightning Bolt, and Dark Matter is a leap above Gigaton. I adore Dark Matter in a way I haven’t done with any album by anyone in years.

Dark Matter is Excellent! Huge bounce back from Gigaton. But, while the last 3 have not been great for me, they do have a few great tracks each.

DM is so refreshingly not silo’d songs. And I think they can top it if they get another crack at it with Andrew.
