I have never done a request, but please play all of Dark Matter at every damn show.

So it seems, that for those who have heard it, its about 3 out of 4 who are super stoked, and then it just didnt hit that hard for the other. Which is fine, at this point in the game, its expected.

I remember when I heard Yield (Fav album), a few songs didnt land with me.  Do the Evolution, in particular....that song just didnt click until I heard it live and now its obviously a classic.  Also, Pilate...didnt like it at all.  Now I love it.  Some of the songs take some time, some live tweaks, etc to hit.

That all said...I have not been this excited over a collective of songs since maybe ever. There have always been a few that I am like, "ok, this is cool, but prob will skip on most occasions based on my mood" or even "Hmm, I dont think I like this one".

I dont have any of that with this record.

Yeah, 10+ years from now people will praising it like they do No Code, which also took a lot of 💩 when it first released.
I died. I died and you just stood there. I died and you watched. I died and you walked by and said no. I'm dead.

You want half of your show to be new material?

Then we get the 6 staples at most shows.

That leaves 5 songs to be different each show.

That does not sound like a great idea to me.
Yep. Thats what I want. 50 shows in, and having heard all of the dark matter album, I want to hear each of these songs again, only live. As much as possible.

If they play 22-24 songs, thats about 1/3rd of the show. Its the Dark Matter tour, afterall.
    Thats about 1/2 the show...

Also why would you want about 1/2 of the show to be spoiled for you knowing whats being played?

I would not be upset hearing these songs every night. Im going to see Green Day knowing they are going to play all of Dookie and American Idiot at every show.

Looking forward to the live versions. The production sucks for me. Compression up the wazzu. Watt managed to make the best live band on the planet sound generic. Sounds like Toto…

It's not a murder mystery dinner. These are songs I will have never heard before live. That's enough mystery for me.
I gather speed from you fucking with me.

I really really really hope I get to hear the whole album in my two shows. Would be happy with two full album shows.  I think both Stone and now Ed have said something along the lines of new production and playing lots of these this tour right so fingers crossed.

Guys, just open with Scared of Fear and smash through the whole album
