    the divorce was the downfall.  I think he won only 1 major after that? so 2009 on he won the masters in 19. not a sniff since.

    I like Scottie regardless though. Went huge on him when he was +125 while there was a three way tie at -6.

    Yeah I ended up hedging when he was +140 near the end of round 3, and with a round 4 parlay of him, Morikawa, Homa, and Bryson finishing in the top-10, I was able to win some money. He's almost a sure thing when in contention in round 4 of a big tournament.

    We were first off the tee at 7am.  Wrapped in 3 hrs, 45 minutes which was ahead of the 4 hour pace they set for us.  I love being first off the tee and walking.   Off on adventure and nobody in front of you to slow it down.

    Yeah, agreed he seems like a good dude and obviously the best golfer on the planet. The super weird bible thumping just creeps me out.

    Edit: On the other side, this is about as great of a quote as you could ever ask for.

    This is awesome stuff. Very jealous. Gotta get out there.

    Another factor could be his new (has it happened?) fatherhood.

    He'll have to at some point. Age won't let him swing like that.

    Nelly Korda.  5 in a row.  Impressive.

    Rahm, Rory, others were dominant only in stretches.  Scottie has the best run post Tiger.    Majors matter but I don’t value them as highly so Koepka isn’t as dominant to me.

    The Korda stuff is impressive. I’m taking my daughter to the Lancaster CC for the women’s open the Thursday after Memorial Day. Should be awesome. Really looking forward to it. 

    I think there’s something to majors, but I hear you. I think the data/stats say Brooks isn’t close to that tier.

    wiki just told me Nelly’s sister has 6 LPGA wins and her dad won the 1998 tennis Australian Open.

    That's when he won't win anymore.
    It will be a long time.  The back foot slide is a control mechanism to offset the front foot.  I play with a guy who is a 3, a solid golfer who hits a long drive.  He's 49 and he's been working the slide into his game, successfully.  Sometimes it goes bananas, but overall it has kept his drive straighter than ever.  Point is, he's 49 and can do it no problem.  I tried it a few times but it's just one extra glitch I don't need.  If I want to control my cut, I just line up with a slightly closed stance.  My natural driver flight is a cut.
