I might be a very small minority here but I’d rather the next tour didn’t have new material.  I know it will.  Just saying my preference.
Strong disagree. I feel almost exactly opposite to this. I'd love shows that were almost all new material. If Pearl Jam ever stopped making new music and playing that new music live, I would save a lot of money because I would go from seeing them as many times as I can within a 500-mile radius to maybe seeing them once. If Pearl Jam announced a tour where they would be playing only songs from their first three albums, I'm sure it would sell like hotcakes but I would have zero interest in that.
I'm similar.   Gigaton wasn't my favourite PJ album, but only having gone to the Oakland shows, I think I only got to hear 3 songs live off the album.   I would of liked to have gotten more of it, but I understand why they couldn't do it with replacement drummers.

I don't get too many firsts in setlists anymore, so new songs off new albums always give me new songs to experience live :)

Give me new material all day. I don’t need to hear “the classics” over and over

I like new album tours better… more excitement for me

but I do like how they did this last year mini/ no new album tour with playing the classics better than I remember and busting out rare songs

new material......keep it coming, keep it coming, keep it coming! Do I want to hear Alive and classics all the time, sure, but new material means touring etc. Use it or lose it. we are the lucky ones!

Anyone else think maybe we could ge a single at the end of 10 Days? I’m not expecting an album or tour announcement til after New Year (although I’d love to be wrong) but I wouldn’t rule out a standalone single.
    Wishful thinking anyway.

The band distracted stone with a native planting job that will take a few weeks. No internet/cell service.

I like the fact that they still do tours in support of albums, and also do greatest hits shows, mixed with some rarities. Good mix of both. I just wish we got more of all of it. But part of that is anticipation, too, and frankly thats good too. For my age, their current schedule is about what I can handle, but Id always love more new music.
