Friends, I am thrilled to announce the digital release of the Cabinet of Wonder album! It’s out August 21st on Nonesuch Records, with two songs streaming today (July 8th). A true labor of love, this project represents three years of collaboration with the Chicago Symphony Orchestra (CSO) and Chicago Children’s Theatre (CCT) and is the culmination of my four decades of involvement in children’s arts and education. I can’t wait for you to hear it.

Cabinet of Wonder features 14 songs based on traditional nursery rhymes as well as 3 originals. Videos highlight performances with CSO musicians, shadow puppetry by the Chicago-based theater group Manual Cinema, and a cast of 24 wonderful children recruited from CCT’s education program.

This fall, the free enrichment program launches in schools nationwide in partnership with the National Head Start Association. Be sure to follow @cabinetofwonderofficial on social media to stay up to date.
