Am I the only one who doesn’t feel the need to see Dave play with the band ever again?

If they can do something like Fort Worth Night 1 where there was only 1 song played released past the year 2000, I don't see why they can't have a show with Dave behind the kit only doing 91-94 stuff...

I see why. Because they don't like each other and probably don't trust each other.

By the way, that Fort Worth show was actually one song released after 1998. As previously noted, Josh says that he knows the first five albums (i.e., through 1998's Yield) backward and forward, but not the stuff after that. That's likely why there wasn't any of 2000's Binaural at that show.
I gather speed from you fucking with me.

Another nope. The guy shits on Ed and the other drummers, and the band's music, and people actually think they should invite the guy to play with them.

  • Dave is a great drummer and did amazing work with PJ! But…

Hopefully he can find a band that he finds success with and let it go…

nope.  Stick with MFC and maybe call Jack Irons when you want to do No Code or Yield in full at a show.

Like you wouldn't look like a little boy on Christmas Eve in the crowd, if Dave A strolled out on the stage and started playing RVM

Easier said than done.. lol.  It must of sucked so much to have been with one of the biggest bands of the planet, then get fired.   Lightning rarely strikes twice.  It's hard enough to be in 1 band that gets to tour to rabid audiences in arenas/stadiums, let alone find a 2nd.    It's probably one of those things that haunts you for the rest of your life :(

He was playing with post-Slash Guns N Roses though, so lightning struck a little bit more than once.

There was a time I missed PJs live sound without Dave, but then I forgot about it because the current stuff was/is fantastic. Plus, I'm now also at a point where I don't really like the sound of their live stuff pre-94. The cymbals are distracting.
    It's a hopeless situation...

I couldn't care less either way, but he shit on the other drummers? I thought all he said was that in terms of contribution (2 albums during their commercial peak) that he should have been inducted ahead of DK?
