Yuck. I hated Bud Light before it was cool.gimmesometruth27 said:i'm gonna drink bud light this evening because i hate the haters.
i don't love it, but with as infrequently as i drink these days it doesn't taste terrible and i can drink 5 or 6 and know exactly how i am going to feel in the morning. it beats some of the other beers i used to drink a lot of though."You can tell the greatness of a man by what makes him angry." - Lincoln

i'm at the point in my life where if someone wants to start shit with me over what i am drinking then screw them. it's their problem, not mine. there are plenty of other reasons to beat me up if they wanted to, haha.tempo_n_groove said:

Budweiser heavy is a great beer though. It's the rice.

So technically, their marketing campaign caused sales to temporarily go up the past 3 months, but now they've leveled off. Although, I have read they lost billions in value, but I wonder if the billions was initially what they gained before dropping back down?mickeyrat said:

haha not one bit. I don't drink any of those beers anymore. I did when I was younger. the only "mainstream" beers I drink are MGD (bottle only-can is gross), and Coors Banquet/Original. The rest are mostly local.Your boos mean nothing to me, for I have seen what makes you cheer0

I had a Coors original a week or so ago...it's been years as we usually get Coors Light which is considered shit around here.HughFreakingDillon said:haha not one bit. It was really good...love the glass bottles. I know what you mean about MGD, I don't drink it but there is a burger place in OH where we get regular Miller in the glass bottles and for some reason it is just perfect at that place. I don't drink it anywhere else though.Remember the Thomas Nine !! (10/02/2018)

Both suck compared to beer. But this take is as weak as a Bud Light. Bud heavy all day if it's just a choice between the 2 of them!!!!HughFreakingDillon said:

Agreed. Regular Bud was one of my favorites when all I was drinking was the macrobrews.cincybearcat said:

I don't like IPAs so I cannot be a "beer snob." That said, I really don't like the Buds, Millers, Mich Goldens, etc. So I'm not really a factor in Bud Light sales but if I'm ever in a spot where the only options are that kind of crap, I'll go for Bud Light for sure.1995 Milwaukee 1998 Alpine, Alpine 2003 Albany, Boston, Boston, Boston 2004 Boston, Boston 2006 Hartford, St. Paul (Petty), St. Paul (Petty) 2011 Alpine, Alpine

Regular Bud is awful. Have not picked that when there is an option since I was 16 or so.
I'm in the bud light over bud camp....especially if it pisses off the people who hate trans folksThe love he receives is the love that is saved0 -
you all are missing out. the clear choice here is busch bavarian. or as we st louisans call it, busch heavy.

I'm still upset that InBev stopped importing Boddington's into Canada. I know UK people look down on it, but I love a cream ale w/ Nitro, and it's nice to have something other that Kilkenny available (but do I ever love Kilkenny).mickeyrat said:Gern Blansten said:
