Tell us the actual totals of tenclub attendees please
Through fan to fan, and 10c members with multiple accounts, it’ll get watered down anyway

Not sure if it's been brought up but did any other Canadians notice they use a different exchange rate for purchases and refunds? Their mistake cost me $20 which is not financially crippling but just annoying...

the exchange rate is calculated by your credit card, not TM or 10C.

I’m laughing out loud! Can you imagine buying tickets to anywhere and having that be your seat? Major architect fail.

Looks like my seat that I had for Foo Fighters at Wrigley. I ended up walking around and there was this section where nobody was sitting, probably saved for VIPs or something. I just sat there, nobody said anything, and I had an awesome view.

“Record breaking number of members at these shows” sounds like it’ll be a fun atmosphere. Also a nice reminder our seats are going to suck compared to other years!
Thanks 10c for everything you’ve done to fix this mess. You could make it up to us by letting us preorder a poster!  =)

People already don't realize "more members = seats not as good."

It'll be a mess. "10C doesn't care. My seats used to be so good!"

Well, part of that is what I outlined above. Another part is more fans willing to travel. In 1998 and 2000, when the band did 3-4 (or more) shows within a few hours driving distance of someone, it meant fewer people flying.

You could only get 10C tix for 1 show also, which made it less members per show, hence better seats.

Yep, and also, 20 years ago....we were all 20 years younger, so probably a lot of people with less disposable income.  Also, was ticketmaster online then? Feel like I still went into Carson Pirie Scott to get tickets then.

the exchange rate is calculated by your credit card, not TM or 10C.
Most credit cards charge a 2.5% conversion fee in both directions.  So even if the rate stayed the same you lose 5% on the extra transaction.  There are a few cards on the market that don’t charge the 2.5%.  They are worth their weight in gold for situations like these.
PJ: 2013: London (ON); Buffalo; 2014: Cincinnati; 2016: Sunrise, Miami, Toronto 1-2, Wrigley 2; 2018: London (UK) 1, Milan, Padova, Sea 2, Wrigley 1-2, Fenway 1-2; 2021: SHN, Ohana, Ohana Encore 1-2; 2022: LA 1-2, Phx, Oak 1-2, Fresno, Copenhagen, Hyde Park 1-2; Quebec, Ottawa, Hamilton, Toronto; MSG, Camden, Nashville, Louisville, St. Louis, OKC; 2023: St. Paul 1-2, Chicago 1-2; Fort Worth 2; Austin 1-2; 2024:  Vancouver 1-2, LV 1-2, LA 1-2, Napa, Barcelona 1-2; Indy; Chicago 1-2; MSG 1-2; Philly 2; Boston 2; Ohana 1-2; 2025: FL 1-2, ATL 1-2, Nash 1-2, Pit 1-2.

There's actually two rates that may come into play. One is a foreign transaction fee, which I think is what you're referring to as a conversion fee. Cards marketed as travel cards often don't charge this. Second is the currency exchange rate. Even if there's no explicit foreign transaction fee, the card may use a currency exchange rate that is unfavorable to the cardholder. This can result in the same effect as if the card had charged the 2.5% foreign transaction fee. That's what I encountered when I deposited my check from TM for the Canadian shows -- no explicit fee, but the exchange rate appeared to cost me about 3% compared to the market rates at the time. Figuring out which cards have the most favorable exchange rates is a little tougher. If you use a card with foreign transaction fees and a bad exchange rate it's a double whammy.

Youre probably right.  Maybe 23, as I think Binaural tour we could only get 1 10C tickets per tour.  My girlfriend had a 10C membership as well, so she used hers on INdy, I used mine on Chicago, and we both ended up at Carsons for East Troy and Nashville.  2003 was Riot Act, and I think that was when the rule was changed to allow for unlimited shows?

    Can anyone confirm this?

Too long ago to remember but how did Austin lose that show in 2000? They played Houston twice instead. I was a poor college student and only did Dallas.
This show, another show, a show here and a show there.

Wow! Look at all those shows those years. I was not a Ten Club member yet. And I definitely could not afford to travel to more than one show. But I went to Jones Beach in 2000 (funny they call that NYC), and DC in 2003.
