I believe the demand is high enough to open its own discussion.

I’d also be ok with late 2023…..

Absolutely ridiculous that Atlanta and Houston have gone THIS long. Think of all the North American cities already going on TEN years, and then DOUBLE that!! Crazy

Count me in. I say they do a “unique residency” and play several different venues over a month or so. I’d legitimately purchase tickets to each of these:

    State Farm arena
    Mercedes Benz
    lakewood amphitheater
    verizon amphitheater
    the Earl
    Chastain Park
    Buckhead Theater
    The Eastern
    Gwinnett Arena
    the Roxy
    Fox Theater
    Variety Playhouse
    Truist Park

I'd like to add Sanford Stadium & Stegman Colesium in Athens to this list. Go Dawgs! Guess we can add Bobby Dodd Stadium and the GA Tech Colesium too.

@JojoRice - yes.   That would be the epic residency.   Couldn't ever be topped.....even 50% of those venues.

Pearl Jam's last non-festival show in Atlanta was 2003?!? That's pretty crazy.

Well, if we’re talking Athens, it has to be the Fabulous 40 Watt!

Music Midtown, it’s too soon to talk about that one. 😞 Stupid laws.  Although I’m hoping for a non festival PJ show for Georgia!

That is crazy.  My 10C # was bad way back then and it put me almost on the back row of the large amphitheater for that show.  20 years later I get really great seats from the 10C.  And in that span they have played in South Carolina three times.  Nothing against SC at all by the way. I am not getting my hopes up.   Atlanta would be nice but I would be happy with anywhere I don't have to get on a plane to attend.
    00 - Atlanta                                            10 - MSG I&II
    03 - Birmingham, Atlanta                       22 - L̶a̶s̶ ̶V̶e̶g̶a̶s̶, Camden, Nashville
    04 - Asheville, Kissimmee                     23 -  Ft Worth II
    08 - Tampa, Columbia                           24 - LA I&II, Philadelphia I&II, Baltimore?
    09 - Atlanta I&II (EV)

There must be some economics at play in Atlanta with festivals, like Music Midtown. With Midtown not an option anymore, maybe we can get a show. (And if they can resist Bonnaroo.)

Speaking of Atlanta, I'm listening to 4/3/94 right now.  Dave A is just so incredible.  Even Flow hasn't gone this hard since then.

It's been way too long to get a proper show in Atlanta. MM2012 was nice and all, but I want a non-festival show. And I would sell everything if I could get a 30th anniversary Fox show. However, I must sadly agree with my compatriot above. I now go into every tour announcement braced for disappointment.

Keep this thread alive and near the top for a couple years, and it just may work.

The “Play Minnesota” thread has certainly paid off….
