    Yeah I saw that there was something on Twitter, but I couldn’t check it for a while. Once I got a chance I saw it was what I had already preordered. Well without the slip mat. 
    Nobody has ordered it with the slip mat, so you didn’t miss anything.

    Pre order on the Yield vinyl is April 13th. I wonder if the same company will also do a pressing of Riot Act, as it's birthday is in November.

    It’s the style of color pressing. It’s how you get the whisps in it. 

    As opposed to color in color, splatter, etc…

    Yield x VMP Release
    Pearl Jam recently partnered with Vinyl Me Please to deliver a 25th-anniversary deluxe reissue of Yield. 

    For the first time, Yield is being reissued on 2 LPs at 45 RPM on a 180g translucent red & black hi-melt vinyl in a double gatefold, direct-to-board, and die-cut jacket.

    The pre-order window for the Yield reissue ends on April 13th!

    They sure know their audience. The Yield album is priced way higher than other 2-LP colored vinyl releases. Maybe it's the sticker.

    Or they include that slipmat? And maybe random copies will be signed by the band. We will see.

    Where are people seeing a slipmat will be included in this? The “slipmat” in the Twitter video is made up of video images. It’s not a real slipmat.

    Slipmat is not included as the sale description page doesn't say anything will be included with the vinyl purchase.

    That and no way any slipmat could produce that video quality image.

    That is an animated zoetrope picture disc I believe.  I could be wrong but I've seen other bands sell those in the past year.

    That's what I thought too... or even an artists rendition of what the final product will be. But the preorder page just says red and black. Everyone go look up the Spice Girls album-- I don't like the spice girls but the record looks really cool when spinning.
    Also why does everyone say it's a slip mat? The middle of it is just the middle of a record.
    So the band is promoting a link to a red vinyl version with a fake video of a zoetrope album and "listen to it like you have never heard it before?" This is super shady and kinda shitty if that's the case.

    Oh cool, here it is April 13 and they've already taken down the preorder page. Cool, thanks, that's great. If this ends up being a surprise zoetrope album and I missed it even though it's April 13, I'm gonna be very let down.

    Yeah it’s not like you’ve had 7 weeks to pre-order and you were told pre-order ENDS on April 13.
